Business Operations and Strategies are used to evaluate and analyse the functions that are
present in an organization for ensuring its growth and development in competitive market.
Business operations add value in the tangible and intangible assets of the firm. The operations of
the business revolves around the generating and recurring income, increasing the value of the
business assets and securing the income and the value of the business organisation. The main
aim of this assignment is to lay emphasis upon the business operations and the strategies
followed by the organisation in order to increase there sales and productivity.

Operational strategies lay emphasis upon how business can deliver value to the
customers while on the other hand strategic planning is used to produce decision about the future
working of the firm. Operation management is that unit of the organisation that focus upon
designing and controlling production process and redesigning operations of the business in order
to produce the goods and services. Since last one year Oak Pub is entertaining people, but the
unit has seen a rapid decrease in the sales and requires some strategies which can helps in
increasing it sales in the competitive market. The strategies of the operation management help
the firms to lay emphasis upon the working strategies followed by them. The strategic
framework provides the guidelines which is used to evaluate the working and the functions of
the organisation. Generally the operational framework is used to describe the structure of the
management in order to describe the corporate organisation.
Oak Pub wants to increase there rate of sales in order to maintain there position in the
market, they can lay emphasis upon the operations that are conducted by there staff members
and all the other members of the unit, this will help them in analysing and evaluating the aspect
and the weak areas where they need to lay focus. Operational management unit of the
organisation is the section which is most important part of the organisation as all the work and
functions of the organisation are managed by this department of the company(Annarelli, 2016).

Design factors is the management unit which is used to design policies, supply chain
techniques in order to control the creative process and build structural organisation. Design
factors which are used to shape operational management of the firm is :
