Malaysia is famous for their travel and tourism business and providing world best class
electronic products and brands. They export their products over world wide countries. But
in Malaysia electronic industry not follows ethical law as and regulations, their behaviour
with migrant workers is considers in unethical behaviour category. They take their passport
and take heavy burden of debt in order to proved them employment at low wages rate, they
did not provides them social facilities as to live n healthy environment moreover they even
not care about health issue and safety an severity of migrant workers more than 500
migrant worker trapped in their game. According to the law of ethical behaviour and rules
of supply management , human resource are the most important tool of business
organisation, success of an firm totally depend on the performance and abilities of their
work force, the higher the work force is motivate, the rate of success has been increase
whit that rate. It is essential for electronic industry of Malaysia to change their protocol and
policies regarding human resource and important policies of resource planning and uses of
operational and project management strategies(Wang, Wallace, Shen and Choi, 2015).
They can use lean manufacturing technique it will help in reducing manufacturing time
reduce operational coast, boost targets, restore and significantly raises the competiveness
of company. Lean manufacturing also useful in providing space of working area. Help in
culture standardize thus unfavourable practices and behaviour both the workers and
management are reduces. They also use quality management technique, key performance
indicators, benchmarking which will directly help in increasing the profit and wealthy as
well as it will also help in providing incentive to those workers who work with full of their
efficiently..Operation and supply management technique useful for done an ethical
behaviour for these organizations. If they not follow the rules regarding ethical behaviour
then legal case will be sue on electronic industry of Malaysia due to not proving minimum
wages a well as their they will be liable for unethical behaviour with migrant worker. Thus
to prevent with this situation they must follow code of ethics and for this they use
operational management techniques.

Interpretation of case study 2
Lens technology is one of the famous glass manufacturing organization. But due to some times
their we’re be issue aeries regarding to their quality of glassed. According to the workers point of
view the company does not manufacturing high quality of glasses for I phone 4 covers, even the
company also deal with proving best quality of glass for Apples’ I Phone but according to the
management department Lane only fulfil the half demand of Apple on the time they acquired
their glass devilry. The company suffers from serious issue if they not able to fill their devilry
order then it will directly impact on their goodwill as well as their profitability rate. Thus to solve
the issue of quality and demand they need to use operational and supply management strategies.
For this purpose they firstly use to change their production process, and involve in this process
batch production process in which they occur similar item together, each batch goes through one
stage of the production process before moving onto next stage(Brandenburg and Rebs,) .They
also use flow charts for process analysis. In the process they use quality improvement technique
for this they use methods through which they recognize cost and errors of each product. By
applying effect quality management tools, six sigma, key performance indicator, benchmarking,
they will be able to produce effect glasses with high quality. Fro confirmation they use sampling
to determine whatever their quality is good or not. They can use fish bone diagram to identify
errors and causes of errors .check sheet, scatter and perto analyse for their production
performance. All these tools area useful for improve the boom line of production and also
improve role line, reduce variation and standards business development. By using six sigma
measurement they will be able to meet the requirement of their customers and received full
satisfaction to their buyer organization. They also need to sue effectively supply chain
management mechanism through which they can easily provide their products to suppliers and
customers. Managers also apply statistical process control through which they use statistical
measurement technique and analysis variation in process. By using effective tools and methods
of operation and supply management the manager of Lens Technology will be able to proved
high classed of products and also fulfil the demand of Apple company ‘s phone 4 at the time
when they required with proper feature in their products so customers will not make any issue
and satisfy with the services of Lanes as well as Apple .
