INTRODUCTION
Reflective account to learning mainly aids in defining about the explaining the
experiences and the learning from the specified accounts. Learning from the introduction to
the business management and the operations mainly helps in providing the detail learning and
the experiences for handling the business and planning for its future. The modules helped in
providing effective learning for handling the business with stating the ideas to start the
business, the types of the business and its structures. Also helped in understanding the
environment in which the business operates and its factors affecting while operations. This
report provide details about refection on the semester 1 and its learning based on the project
management and the swot analysis. also reflecting on the semester 2 which is mainly
providing learning on the team working and the role of leader and how to become the
effective HR professionals.
MAIN BODY
Learning from semester 1
Reflecting on the learning from the semester 1, with using the gibs model will help in better
explaining the whole experiences and the learning from attending the business management
and operations module. As while attending the module in semester 1, it mainly explains about
the type of the business and its structures while forming and starting the business on own. As
for starting the business understanding its environment in which the business operates is
must. This module has helped me in acquiring better understanding about the business
environment. As the environment in which the business operates is affected by various
external and internal factors which affects the other business activities and its earning
capacity. Further learned about structuring the business. As it gave me basic and more detail
knowledge about the importance of structure in businesses. All the business which are
operating in the dynamic environment have different structures consisting of different
departments. As structuring the business mainly helps in dividing the task in different
departments for achieving success in timely manner by coordinating all the necessary
activities. The key role of structuring the business as it mainly helps in efficiently achieving
the business objectives by providing the working in the different departments. Further more
for business structure planning is must, as the business mainly starts by establishing the goals
and its mission for achieving success of the company. Planning for structuralising the
business mainly includes analysing the staff personnel’s needs for coordinating and working
hinders different departments as for achieving success. Moreover , I have also learned about

examining the business environment with using framework. Using swot analysing mainly
helps in analysing the internal business environment which results in determining the internal
factors affecting the business which impacts for achieving success and its earning capacity
(Cherunilam, 2021). Also with learnings about the PEST analysis mainly helps in defining
about all the external factors as pf the political factors, economical factors, social factors,
technological and the legal factors also analysing the environmental factor impacts the
businesses in achieving success while operating in the dynamic environment (Casañ and
et.al., 2021). As for example: it helped in analysing the business transactions mainly faced by
the pandemic and the political rules and regulations, also due to the legal laws and the carbon
emissions impacting forces. Furthermore, with using the swot framework it mainly helped me
in better understanding about the internal businesses problems as the issues in human
resources, collaborating issues results in hindering in the investments and occurring more
expenses of the business (Maré, 2021).
Further more, the learning from the project management mainly aims in defining and
providing the better learning experiences about planning and organising the resources for
starting the business and using those resources specifically to complete the task on time.
While studying about the project management it helped in providing better learning about
controlling the business, managing its quality and planning for effectively allocating the
resources for managing the business operations after starting a company. With acquiring
these understanding will help me in using all the knowledge related to planning , organising
and controlling the business while starting my own business and company in future. Also this
module has helped me in developing better understanding about the delegating the duties and
responsibilities of the human resources in business according to the skills and capabilities
mainly helps in achieving success in effective way. This keen knowledge will help me in
taking care more about the staff personnel’s while allocating the task and reasonability
according to th capabilities and their interest. Further more as I was attending the modules
lecture has helped in in developing better understanding about the capitalising and making
teams for avoiding the mistakes and taking necessary actions while managing the business
and facing the issues and uncertainties. I have also learned about the cause and effect
relations, pareto and controlling chats and using these while managing the businesses. Also
for examples, while attending the lectures I have learned from the Aldi supermarket case
study and developed deep understanding about setting goals and mission is very important for
the business and targeting the customers by selling the products with satisfying their needs

and wants. this will help me in forming strategy as for achieving success and growing the
bushiness fast while operating in dynamic business environment.
Moreover, when I have attended the lectures and started learning about the business
operations and its management. I was very excited as I have never learned and has the
knowledge about managing and starting the business operations. I was very happy and
satisfies as all the teachers has supported me to study and gain deep understanding about
managing the business I effective way. They have also resolves all my issues relating to
planning the business and understanding the environment while operating the business and
company in dynamic world. With gaining this basic knowledge about planning , controlling
structuring and analysing the environment will help me in future by easily establishing the
business. This basic knowledge will help me in better understanding the semester 2 learnings.
I have developed the thorough knowledge by gaining the support from my teachers and the
students which helps me with sharing tehri notes related to the detail notes of the business
management. Also by sharing my vies and communicating with all has helped me In learning
and changing opinions on their view pint about learnings from the business management.
Thus , learning from semester 1 helped me in effectively communicating and handlining my
day to day workings with other students by building better relations in the classroom.
Learning from semester 2
In semester 2 I have gained good understanding about managing the business operations while
operations in the dynamic environment. As while learning from various examples , the entrepreneurs
are the individual which are mainly launches and designs the business on own but the small business
is operates and controlled by an individual. This has helped me in learning about forming the
business and establishing with adopting strong idea. A business idea must be strongly formed and
analyses as for establishing an entity which helps in achieving success by earning profits in the
business. Also I have learned from the entrepreneurs about the ways adopted by the Steve jobs and the
Richard Branson for achieving success by establishing their own enterprises. This mainly helped me
in thinking strategically for establishing the business enterprises and adopting the ways of the
entrepreneurs which lead towards success. Furthermore, I have developed better understanding for
taking the decisions while establishing the business decisions are of various types mainly strategic,
planned or programmed. Taking decisions by relating to its achieving the effects in positive manner
helps in achieving and establishing the business successfully. As decision machining processes
mainly effects the whole business while achieving success. This will help me in taking the decisions
very carefully in my daily life. Furthermore, various other topics which was communicated as
business consisting of different structural concepts namely the line authority, chain of command, span

of control or the traditional , hierarchical, matrix structures in which businesses operates. Also I have
learned in detail about the hierarchical , independence and the matrix structures. Learning these
structures in details helps in adopting the proper structures while structuring the business operations
(Liu, 2021). Thus, this helped me in learning the structuring processes and adopting suitable
structures for starting small or big company and business operations.
More over, after learning about stating the business with establishing the goals and objectives with
structuring the business for delegating the roles and responsibilities according to the specifies skills
and abilities. Further more forming the good business plan is must or achieving the success by
aligning the suitable human resources and appropriates investments (Melkamu, 2021). I have learned
the detail knowledge about creating the business plan, which mainly involves the description of
company and business, setting goals, describing products and services Offered, researching about
establishing prices establishing sales and marketing teams for promoting and lastly financial
plannings. Making the business plan mainly helps the businesses in achieving success (Proença,
2022). The leanings from semester 1 about the swot and using pestle helps in predicting the future
possible outcomes and forces impacting the business buy analysing the environment. Further the
learning about the partnership and the sole trader the business structures and its benefits and
limitations helps in operating and establishing the business with the new business idea. I have also
learned about forming the business with good idea mainly including sustainable practices, earning
profits, achieving large market share and achieving growth by maintaining the fixed and low
operational cost. While attending the module I have also learned about financing business is the key
topic which helps in maintaining the financial position with adopting appropriate financing sources. I
have Gained various skills including effective communication, being good personality with attaining
professionalism mainly help me in establishing good reputed position in market. Mainly in front of
the consumers and the investors. Further learning about various strategies mainly helps in forming
strategy for achieving profits and improving ability to grow in competitive environment (Huang and
et.al., 2022).
I have also learned about analysing the business environment mainly helps in identifying threats from
the competitors which are operating in the dynamic environment. As these mainly results in impacting
on the achievements and earnings of the company . but analysing the competitive level helps in
forming the strategies for the company for achieving growth. As main strategies including the cost
leadership, differentiation strategy, cost focus and differentiation strategy (Belmimoun and
Mokdad, 2022). Further learning from studying the porter five forces model helps in defining about
the fie forces impacting the company and its operations. This , model mainly helps in achieving and
establishing the competitive advantages by forming strategies. Further with using the pestle
framework for analysing the business environment mainly helps in identifying the negative factors as

the political issues, legal issues, economical effects on the business and changing policies and market
place impacts in achieving success for the business. Further more with the developing times, with the
technical upgradations and the e business platforms helps the business in achieving success by selling
products through online networking. As for promoting the business the companies mainly uses
various strategies mainly the social media platforms play key role in marketing the business ( Fries,
Kammerlander and Leitterstorf, 2021). Further various social media platforms is being introduces
which helps in promoting content, products and services offered by the business with attracting large
number of consumers.
Moreover, by establishing business in dynamic and competitive environment various issues
and challenge faced by business leads to changes (Fabuš, Dudáš and Cihelková, 2021). As mainly
including the problems in staffing, loss of control, security issues. But for managing changes with
forming strategies and poste culture helps in adopting and motivating employees for working and
adopting changes. As by offering incentives, rewards. Further more in company HRM play key role
for motivating staffing, rewarding , planning n which helps in achieving success.
CONCLUSION
From this reflective report it can be concluded that gaining business knowledge by
understanding environment and forming plan for the business will help me in effectively
learning and better understanding about the L4 study. With gaining deep understanding about
the types of business structures, using frameworks for analysing business environment, role
of decision making, leadership and the human resources resulted in developing more
confidence for carrying out future learning and business activities. This reflective assessment
has prepared me to learn effective about the L4 study and develop the ability to learn and
carry out all the assessments related to the L4 study.
