INTRODUCTION
Reflective writing refers to the logical practice in which the student describes the real or
imaginary case, scene and event and also adds a personal reflection on its own. It is essential
requirement for the managers in order to be effective and ensures continuous
development(Woldt, and Nenad, 2021). The report covers the reflection of semester 1 that helps
to improve the learning with the help of Gibbs Reflective model.
DESCRIPTION
From Semester 1 I have learned about the role and importance of carious
departments in the company and every department has its own role and management that helps in
proper functioning of the organisation and also in the achievement of the objectives of the
company. It is necessary for the firm to analyse the various factors that affects the functioning of
the company and by framing effective strategies help in accomplishing any task(Hou, and et.al,
2021). I realised that it is important for the management should have effective operational
strategy that specifies the business strategy of the firm and helps in creating plans. I learned from
this topic is that having effective operational strategy helps in identifying the quality of its
products and services and ensures that goals are met by the organization.
The next topic of this semester covers the production management as I think that is the
most important factor the growth of the economy. Production management is associated with the
decision making process of the company which I learned is the major factor in achieving the
growth of the organization(Cheng, and et.al, 2018). I also learned that it is connected with every
department of the company that is marketing, finance etc. The whole process related to the
manufacture of the products rely on the production management. Further the I also think that
supply chain management is also a major component without this the manufacturing process
cannot be started as it manges the flow of goods and services including the transformation of the
material into final product(Koberg, and Longoni, 2019). I also gain knowledge for the first
semester that logistics management is one of the element of supply chain management as its
main purpose is to identify the demands of the customers and planning , controlling mad
implementation is done accordingly.
From this I earned about the advantage of logistics management is that it help in reducing
the cost of the company ad enhance the customer services. I also learned about the various
theories and models that the managers apply in order to implement effective system for fulfilling

In the semester 2 I was quite confident and excited for the for learning new things which help me

capability to become manger in the multinational organization in appropriate manner. Along
with that I was thinking about the outcomes of attending the lecture with the full concentration.
At that moment I was feeling extremely positive to grab the opportunity of learning and
developing my skills and knowledge for the best career path. At one point of the time I got
exhausted and nervous to that becoming manger will bee the hard job for me because it manages
all the functioning of the company (Adeani, Febriani and Syafryadin, 2020.). But later on I am
positive enough as I am having confidence and power to lead the people in appropriate manner.
Moreover, I was enthusiastic to determine that how the manager of the international leading
company operated the function in profitable manner. Before attending the lecture I am not
friendly with the roles and responsibility of the manager. But after that I realized that the manger
of the organization is the essentials' element who take care of the assets of the company that
involve the employees working within the company.
With the assistance of the semester acknowledge some positive and negative things about
myself that involve my strengths and weakness that I need to focus on for becoming productive
as well as effective manager of the company in forthcoming time. The positive about the

the other hand I need to focus on some of my skills. For instance, I am unable to manage my

side it is not easy to inspire others and involve them in the function of the company ass every
individual person is having different mindset to complete the tasks. In context to that it is
important to consider the opinion of others in the decision-making process. Apart from that I will
focus on the personal development programmes in order to enhance my ability. Lastly I feel like
