INTRODUCTION
Reflective writing refers to the logical practice in which the student describes the real or
imaginary case, scene and event and also adds a personal reflection on its own. It is essential
requirement for the managers in order to be effective and ensures continuous
development(Woldt, and Nenad, 2021). The report covers the reflection of semester 1 that helps
to improve the learning with the help of Gibbs Reflective model.
DESCRIPTION
From Semester 1 I have learned about the role and importance of carious
departments in the company and every department has its own role and management that helps in
proper functioning of the organisation and also in the achievement of the objectives of the
company. It is necessary for the firm to analyse the various factors that affects the functioning of
the company and by framing effective strategies help in accomplishing any task(Hou, and et.al,
2021). I realised that it is important for the management should have effective operational
strategy that specifies the business strategy of the firm and helps in creating plans. I learned from
this topic is that having effective operational strategy helps in identifying the quality of its
products and services and ensures that goals are met by the organization.
The next topic of this semester covers the production management as I think that is the
most important factor the growth of the economy. Production management is associated with the
decision making process of the company which I learned is the major factor in achieving the
growth of the organization(Cheng, and et.al, 2018). I also learned that it is connected with every
department of the company that is marketing, finance etc. The whole process related to the
manufacture of the products rely on the production management. Further the I also think that
supply chain management is also a major component without this the manufacturing process
cannot be started as it manges the flow of goods and services including the transformation of the
material into final product(Koberg, and Longoni, 2019). I also gain knowledge for the first
semester that logistics management is one of the element of supply chain management as its
main purpose is to identify the demands of the customers and planning , controlling mad
implementation is done accordingly.
From this I earned about the advantage of logistics management is that it help in reducing
the cost of the company ad enhance the customer services. I also learned about the various
theories and models that the managers apply in order to implement effective system for fulfilling

the company objective. It is very mandatory for the company to find a proper location which
help the company in gaining resources effectively and reduce its extra expenses. The form
should be located. I also learned that in order to reduce the extra cost and easy availability of the
resources, the location of the company should be compatible so that the firm can focus on
investing more cost on research and development . I have also learned that to maintain balance
between there should be effective leadership style s that every employee of the organization can
easily understand their duties and responsibilities and work towards achieving those task and
fulfilling the goals of the firm (Mezginezhad, and et.al, 2021) . Apart from this, I also learned
the importance and role of a Human Resource department that assist and recruiting efficient
employees in the achievement f the objectives of the company. I have learned many things form
this semester which will help e in focusing on these areas which will enhance my learning.
Semester 2- reflection
In the semester 2 I was quite confident and excited for the for learning new things which help me
out in dealing with the forthcoming challenges in effective as well as efficient manner. While
attending the semester 2 lectures I was thinking about the future growth and development of my
capability to become manger in the multinational organization in appropriate manner. Along
with that I was thinking about the outcomes of attending the lecture with the full concentration.
At that moment I was feeling extremely positive to grab the opportunity of learning and
developing my skills and knowledge for the best career path. At one point of the time I got
exhausted and nervous to that becoming manger will bee the hard job for me because it manages
all the functioning of the company (Adeani, Febriani and Syafryadin, 2020.). But later on I am
positive enough as I am having confidence and power to lead the people in appropriate manner.
Moreover, I was enthusiastic to determine that how the manager of the international leading
company operated the function in profitable manner. Before attending the lecture I am not
friendly with the roles and responsibility of the manager. But after that I realized that the manger
of the organization is the essentials' element who take care of the assets of the company that
involve the employees working within the company.
With the assistance of the semester acknowledge some positive and negative things about
myself that involve my strengths and weakness that I need to focus on for becoming productive
as well as effective manager of the company in forthcoming time. The positive about the
semester is that it deliver the proper information about the managers post that it can be

considered in improving my capability. One of the best thing I learn in the semester is that in
order to provide proper information to the people at the workplace it is important to have healthy
communication with the individual person. Along with that I come to know that the manager of
the organization supposed to be multitasking within the organization who can resolve and mange
the operation of the company at the same time (Schermerhorn Bachrach and Wright, 2020).
During the lecture I feel like I am having the cup of positivize that enhancing my knowledge and
my effectiveness to complete the task. Everyone presented in the assessment are contributing
equally in inspiring others. Along with that I identified my strength that will encourage me to
become HR manger or the operational manger that includes communicational skills. I can
communicate with the people confidentially and deliver right information to the right people in
order to bring the best result within the organization.
Along with that I have the creativity skills that help the organization to bring uniqueness in the
company as well as provide the competitive advantages. With the assistance of the creativity
skills I can motivate the workers of the organization to engage in the production of the company
with all the efforts. I determined that I have the capability to motivate the peoples of the
organization and provide guidance to them in right manner. Through the leadership skill I can
provide right direction to the right people as per their abilities, knowledge and the mindset. On
the other hand I need to focus on some of my skills. For instance, I am unable to manage my
work on time which is essential in organization. After attending the lecture or the semester 2, in
my opinion With the assistance of the time mid-management the individual person can plan and
organized the plans of action in short period of the time. Moro ever the time management
prioritize the importance of the work within the organization. Along with that due to time
management skills I am able to meet the deadlines at perfect way (Sekarwinahyu, et.al 2019).
Along with that I experienced that the any job roles and responsibilities required discipline to
maintain the decorum of the company. Along with that the advantage of accommodating the
semester 2 is that I gain the idea to squire the personal growth. Simultaneously the decision-
making and problem solving skills should be strong so the individual person is able to solve the
personal as well as professional problems of the organization because it is the responsibility of
the manger to provide the proper solution to the workers of the company in appropriate manner.
Beside that in order to motivate the employees of the organization I can utilize various theories
of motivation such as Mallows theory of the hierarchy of needs, two factor theory etc.

In order to implement the plans of the becoming manger of the organization I can utilize various
leadership theories such as behavioural, contingency, green man theory etc. along with that from
the semester 2 I understand the value of the corporation and coordination which is required at the
workplace to perform the function in effective manner. Along with that I develop my career path
or determine that the human resources manger will be the suable job role for me. On the other
side it is not easy to inspire others and involve them in the function of the company ass every
individual person is having different mindset to complete the tasks. In context to that it is
important to consider the opinion of others in the decision-making process. Apart from that I will
focus on the personal development programmes in order to enhance my ability. Lastly I feel like
being manger of the company is challenging but not difficult (Tanaka, Okamoto and Koide
2018).

From the above report I have determined that in order to become an effective manager
and aspire what I want to become in the future depends upon the efforts I make today will benfit

me wherever I will work in the company. From the above discussion I realised that I should have
confidence in me so that I can easily and without getting panic work toward achieving them .
From the analysis I realised that it is very necessary for me to work on my time management
skills although its not too bad but it should be improved so that I can easily accomplish the task
given to me effectively. I should not only focus on completing the task on given time but also
products quality work which also reflects my performance in the company. The task of the
manager is to make effective decision in order to solve any issues that occurs in the firm. On the
other hand I also learned that I have effective leadership and communication skills which will
help in coordinating with my employees and effectively solve any problems that arise in the
management I should focus on taking classes and online lectures which can helps me to be
prepared in future so that I can produce my creative ideas before the employees and other
managers which can be beneficial for achieving the objectives of the company.
RECOMMENDATION
 Operations mangers is also considered as the important personnel in the top level
management and they also evaluate the performance of the company. As an
operations manager , it should learn to keep focusing on multiple areas of the
company to ensure that the there is optimum utilisation of the costs and resources
in order to increase the productivity of the organization.
 It is very necessary for me to think from all perspective and connect with all the
department of the firm in order to know the root cause of the problem or where
the company is lacking behind and together solve the issue(Radovic Markovic,.
and Salamzadeh, 2018) . I should analyse different situations and think what is
required for the best interest of the company.
 I should never focus on involving the superiors but should lay emphasise on
involvement of every employee which helps in gaining more ideas and knowledge
which can help in meeting the goals and objectives.
 I should work more on my listening and communication skills so they I can
effectively communicate with my employees so that they can understand the
information conveyed and work towards achieving the objectives . improvement
will not only help me coordinating with my fellows but also to know about the
current position of the company.

CONCLUSION
From this report it can be concluded that it it is very necessary to make improvement in
the communication and listening skills and the topic discussed in the report focused on the
importance of various department of the company and their roles in the achievement of the goals
of the organisation.
