LO 1 Identify the strategic frameworks
of operations management.
Strategic framework is the guide for the organisation in
order to gain the best output level of productive sales
(Jacobs, Chase and Lummus, 2014). With the
understanding of operational frameworks, it helps to
enhance the corporate culture and identity.
Organization

Operational frameworks generally describe the
company corporate and management structure. In order
to enhance the Oak Pub sales revenue, they need to
adopt the guidelines of Boston Consulting Group for the
betterment of the company profit. In this element of
operational framework describes the importance of
organisational values (Krajewski, Malhotra and
Ritzman, 2015). In this element includes the hierarchy
level and how leaders govern the company in order to
earn the customer attraction.

• Policies
Operational framework gives the outline
company policies. This element of strategic framework
guides about the principles on behaviour, employment
and promotion activities. This defines and guides to the
employees to attend the customers in better ways. Oak
Pub is the most popular Pub bar which provides the best
services (Krajewski, Malhotra and Ritzman, 2015).
Besides, due to low performance of employees or lack
of strategic support, they decrease their annual sales.

• Processes and Procedures
In this next framework of strategic operational
management explains the importance of company
process of working. It is very important to measure the
company productivity. Oak Pub needs to adopt creative
and productive customer dealing process which help to
retain the potential customers.

LO 2 Describe main design factors and their
alternatives which shape operations management
Oak needs to adopt attractive design and Pub layout
which attracts the customer attraction. It helps to grab
more sales and profit revenue. Along with that, it is very
necessary for Oak Pub to take new product strategy in
order to retain the existing customers and attracts new
buyers as well (Ramakrishnan, 2015). There are
different elements which gives new designs and
company layout for example, Oak Pub needs to invest
on infrastructure, trained their staff members. So that,
they behave better with the customers.

LO 5 Explain the role of operations within a range of
business organisations
• Operation management defines the designs or improvement of production
system which increases the company sales (Rouvari and et.al., 2016). This
provides the great opportunity for the Oak Pub to get better planning for
the new service plans operation resources includes five P's of operation
which enhance the better performance of the organisation. Such as given
below:
• People are the direct or indirect workforce which helps company to
implement the plan.
• Plants are the factor which carries the production activities.
• Parts is another main element which includes the material that needed for
the system.
• Processes is another P of the strategic operation framework with the help
of which organisation follows the step by step plan.
