Business is referred to as the combination of the economic activities that an organisation or an
individual carry for income generation. It is associated with the production and distribution of
goods and services with the objective of earning profit. Whereas the term organisation means
bringing of the important resources for the distribution and production of the goods and services
and making it utilisation in the best possible manner. So referring to the term business
organisation is the combination of the definitions. It can be classified as sole trading concerns,
partnership organisation, joint stock company, public enterprises, cooperative society and the

in 1975. Further the essay will cover the tall and flat structure and the pros and cons associated
with it and it will also cover the functions human resource management and the brief about the
culture of the organisation.

minimum and not excess burden of the accounting obligations and also the benefit of keeping the
