in future. Personal development is lifelong process because as a person joins organisation there
are many things to learn and they can develop skills such as, communication, teamwork,
leadership, critical thinking and many other which are required in the company. It is important
that correct actions should be taken by an individual to improve skills and enhance their
knowledge. In this fast moving world, competition is increasing day by day so it is necessary that
every person should have some skills which are essential at the workplace and learn different
ways of doing things. A person should make some goals and targets which they want to achieve
and work hard to accomplish them. If an individual want to develop skills or enhance their
knowledge then they should make plans or strategies to achieve set goals and objectives.
Personal development is for the growth of individual person, develop skills and try to learn
new things so that he or she can get good job opportunities in future and they will not face any
problem. If a person will develop this then it will be easy to get job and they do not have to
struggle. Professional development means that there are some skills which are required in
organisation and there are some ways for how to behave in company with other people. For
example, mentoring, coaching, consultation, review case study etc. Professional development
refer to skills which are required at the workplace like, teamwork skills, leadership skills, good
communication and many other.
Short term goals
Short term goal means goals which is made by a person so that he or she can develop skills
