MARKET GAPS
One of the most important market gaps that JOKIDS can really take advantage of is the fact that
there is a dearth of skilled nurseries in Amman, Jordan. There are no work place nurseries in the
country as such that have skilled labor who are competent enough to take care of very small
children while their parents are busy pursuing their professional duties and responsibilities.
JOKIDS will therefore be able to find a huge market for its services given the relative absence in
the country of nurseries that not only offer to look after the infants of employees but do so in the
most skilled and competent way possible (Bauernschuster and Schlotter 2015).
The nurseries that are in existence in Amman, Jordan, where working professionals are usually
known to keep their babies while they are away in office, are places that charge exorbitant
amount of money for the services that they offer. As a result, it is only the rich and the affluent in
Jordan until now who can really afford such services. This gap in the market is one that will be
addressed successfully by JOKIDS as it will offer nursery services for working professionals at
market prices, thus catering to the needs and requirements of middle income employees as well.

All nurseries in Amman, Jordan are those that are not too centrally located and working
professionals have to travel a considerable distance in order to get to these nurseries in the first
place. As a result, they end up wasting a lot of time and a lot of extra money going to and from
these destinations. JOKIDS is a nursery that will be centrally situated in order to benefit most of
the offices that are situated in Amman. Its strategic location will enable most office goers in
Amman, Jordan to utilize its services (Berman 2015).
The nursery and day care facilities that are in operation in the city of Amman at the moment are
those that offer services for only a limited number of hours in the day. This is something that is
of great disadvantage for many working professionals who are economically empowered enough
to afford such nursery services. This is a market gap that is going to be addressed by JOKIDS
very effectively as it will provide care facilities for infants and for very young children for at least
seven to eight hours in a day and not just for a limited time period (Kellecher et al. 2015).

RECOMMENDATIONS
In order to make its services appealing to a wide customer base in the city of Amman, Jordan,
JOKIDS should provide infants and young children with a safe and secure environment where
they can stay while their parents are away at work. Every care must be taken on the part of the
JOKIDS professionals to baby proof the nursery areas, so that it is safe and secure for infants and
small kids to wander around, even when they are not being supervised by the authorities at the
nursery or when they want to play with one another instead of sleeping.
JOKIDS needs to pay special attention to the types of employees that it recruits for its nursery
services in Amman, Jordan. It needs to pay special credential to the skills and attributes of
prospective employees at the time of employment in order to make sure that it hires on the best
for its services. Ideally, JOKIDS should consider appointing individuals for its various posts who
have received training in foreign countries and who also have the work experience that is
needed in order for them to do a successful job for the period of time that they are employed at
the workplace nursery.
Every effort needs to be made on the part of the authorities at JOKIDS in order to keep the
infants under surveillance while they are entrusted in their care. For this purpose, quite a few
surveillance cameras and other types of surveillance mechanisms need to be installed in
different parts of the workplace nursery. Apart from installing surveillance mechanisms, the
workers at JOKIDS need to be vigilant as well as diligent in the performance of their duties and
should monitor the babies at all times in order to prevent untoward incidents like accidents from
taking place.
The JOKIDS professionals should make use the latest methods to keep children entertained in
order for JOKIDS to offer the best workplace nursery services in Jordan. It is a known fact that
keeping children entertained for long hours at a stretch is not something that is very easy to do.
Apart from keeping the best toys, games and puzzles at the disposal of the kids, the nursery
should also consider playing soothing music and decorating the workplace nursery in the most
beautiful of ways in order to get the kids to feel safe and happy while they are over here.
