TASK 2
Evaluating a source
The rise in global citizens has nothing to do with decrement in nationalists. The survey
was being carried out by taking three-fourths of 85000 respondents from 60 countries. It was
conducted by World Values Survey between 2010 and 2014 particularly which are global
citizens. It can be analysed that researchers were amazed by results of research. Nearly 82 %
respondents were identified with their nation and 74 % were very proud of their nationality. It
can be ascertained that 68 % of 2176 respondents from USA provided their view as strong and
moderate degree of global citizenship (Bayram. 2017). The global citizens in which more than 46
% strongly identified with USA and 61 % were proud to be called as American citizen. This was
being similar in Asia, The Middle East and Europe.
From the survey, it is clarified that most of global citizens are not going to shed off their
nationality. In simple words, citizens no matter where do they live, they are still protective of
national interests beneath them. The global citizens answered that they are going to put their
country's issues first as they love their national identity. Global citizenship eventually means an
acquired social identity which is shaped with reference to how individuals prioritise their values
like universalism and self-enhancement in the best way possible. Thus, it can be concluded
despite rise in globalism, it does not mean that nationalists have boycotted their national identity.
They love their own countries which has been justified through the survey which was being
carried out.
TASK 4
Paraphrasing paragraph
PwC has conducted a survey regarding millennials of which 88 % feels and want to work
for the company which puts similar value what employees wanted. This is not ended over hear as
86 % of millennials says that they would easily leave employer if corporate responsibility is
longer meeting their expectations. Young millennials are aware of personal fulfilment in building
their own careers in the way they wanted it to be (Purpose-led business- The crisis of capitalism
and the unlikely solution. 2018). It clearly shows that employer can no longer make call to pay
lip-service for important issues such as sustainability, equality and gender diversity. It is

important to know that employees are far more attractive and enthusiastic and they are
contributing it to social good causes. It means that businesses no longer have to appear socially
ethical on surface as it is not enough. Instead, businesses should be appealing to employees and
incorporate purpose-driven attitude.
Strong team ethos is what can be likelihood of high on success business. If employers
would like to have successful businesses and which truly motivate workforce, it is required to
work with them under a common vision. It is true that shareholders and owners who invests their
'hard earned money' in company for expecting better financial return. However, if an employee
working and putting his own efforts and time for socially good causes, he would be a powerful
motivator. Hence, it can be said that for attaining success of business at a higher scale, workforce
is required to be motivated and business requires to understand common vision between both of
them.
