INTRODUCTION
Business practices are the ways it attempts to do so in the most cost effective way. These are
basically strategies which can be used in order to achieve the goal of business and also objectives
of it. Company in order to achieve their set target must make sure that employees are following
all business practices according to law. Present report will lay emphasis on organising End of
Year party for level 4 business students. It will take place in Metro Bar, Luton Campus.
Assignment will lay emphasis on number of students taking part in this party and justification for
it will also be provided. Report will also lay emphasis on the marketing mix strategies for the
event to be organised. It will also provide the details about human resource arrangement in order
to organise the party successfully.
MAIN BODY
Possible dates for the party
The possible date for the party can be Between 1 May to 10 May, 2020. This is because at
this time all management level students will be free from their assignment submission (Harris,
2018). They will be able to enjoy end of year party without having any stress related to
examination. In this party all arrangements will be made according to needs and demands of
students. This date is been selected as school management will also get enough time for doing
proper arrangements for end of year party. They will try to make it memorable for all students.
Justification of number of students to attend the party
The end of year party for 4 level business students is going to be conducted at Metro, Bar,
Luton Campus of University of Bedfordshire (Qingsong, Jianguo and Yuan, 2019). This bar has
a capacity of 200 people. It has been analysed that there are 150 students who are been enrolled
for business management course. Invitation will be given to all 150 students for attending end of
year party. The school management staffs are expecting to see all 150 students for the end of
year party. They are also involved in doing arrangements according to it. It has been analysed
that they are intended to attend the party as all students are party freak and after the completion
of examination, they deserve a happening party with all type of fun and excitement.
Invitation will be provided to them via email and also messages will be delivered by
making use of mobile technology. The arrangements are being made up by staff according to
preferences of students. They are also engaged in asking students about what type of
arrangement they need in end of year party. It has also been analysed that staff members know

about that 150 students will attend party as they have been asking all students who will there in
end of year party. All students have said and are seeking forward to attend the party. It will have
food, dance night, liquor, chairs, tables and music. This has made all students excited and they
are seeking to make most of that party night.
Marketing mix
The marketing mix have the common level of description such as product, price, promotion,
place, people, physical evidence and process. This are the 7 parameters which is helpful in
developing the events such as festival, sporting event, concert or other promotional activity that
draws the right people and gets your message across in the best way possible.
Product
The product of the event is the organizing of the happiness and needs of people that’s will
be helpful in attracting more and more members. For planning the ‘end of the years’ party for
Level 4 students in the Business School have the clear meaning to have the look out to all
ancillary activities which might take the take place before, during & after event (Morrison,
2018.). This have the clear inclusion of pre-event media days, promotions through website and
social media pages. The product also has the detailed understanding of event-day registration
process, food and beverage, spectator activities and post-event parties, awards and recognition.
Price
As the event is going to be grand and needs the funding to have the coverage of all over cost in
order to make the profits. The budget will be prepared to have the incurring of all level of
expenses such as cost of planning & advertising the event, facility and equipment rentals, staff,
insurance, licenses, permits and fees, setup and clean-up fees, gifts, food and beverage, public
address system and pre- and post-event marketing activities (Kwon, Lee. and Kim, 2018). On
the other hand, the event planner should also look at the having the entrance fees form the
student which will be 2 £ for the student which are considered to be easily affordable for student
to enjoy the great evening. The event planner should try to have the attraction of sponsor in
order to make event more attractive for the attendees.
Promotion
For the end for year event, the targets audience that’s is the student o f the level 4 will be targets
through there social media or digital promotion advertising. There will be the organizing of there
social media campaign and creative ads and blogs to have the promotion of the events is the

different location. There will be different offering of discount and other promotional offers to
students such as the early attendees will get the discount on the passes. There will be organising

engaged in doing pre-party arrangements 3 staff members will be engaged in doing the rest of
work after the party. They will also be engaged in doing screening of area, this will allow them
to know about that no damage is being done by students to the place. These staff members will
also be involved in taking feedback from students about the party. Staff moments will also be
involved in seeing about the interior decoration and arrangement of food and liquor for students.

As per the analysis, it has been noted out 150 students for attending end of year party and the

utilization of budget and resources are being used adequately. All these aspects will help them in
making end of the year party a success (Curtis, 2018). These staff members will also look upon
the preparation related to passes which will be required to enter the Metro Bar. These passes will
be sold at affordable prices so that all of the students can buy it. It has also been analysed that
these two staff members will also be present at that party to make sure every arrangement is
perfect. This will also help them in keeping a track on activities of students. These staff member
will also make sure that proper safety requirements such as fire hazards have been kept in place.
This will assist them in ensuring student safety. These staff members will also keep a check upon
the quality of services that will be provided by caterers. They will ensure that food provided to
them is of high quality.
Post human resource requirement: It has been analysed that 150 level 4 students will
attend the end of year party which will be organised in Metro Bar. After the party is over 3 staff
members will be engaged in doing the rest of work (Berry, 2016). They will be involved in
cleaning the place and washing dishes. They will also make sure that the extra food is been
provided to someone who needs it. They will also be engaged in doing screening of area, this
will allow them to know about that no damage is being done by students to the place. These staff
members will also be involved in keeping chair and tables at their place. They will also be
posting pictures about how success was the end of year party. These staff members will also be
involved in taking feedback from students about the party. They will make sure that next year
party will be better than this. Once the party is over these staff members will check if there were
additional charges that was being made. They will also add extra charges into budget for the
procedure of proper funding. They will make sure that all students left the party place at time and
no student is being waste.
