INTRODUCTION
Research methods are defined as specific procedures for collecting and analysing the data
that develop the understanding and knowledge particularly. This is important for each individual
to have skills and abilities to perform well which supports to accomplish business goals. In
project 1st we have discussed about management and strategies which are used to improve
understanding and managing all activities effectively (Lo, Rey-Martí, and Botella-Carrubi,
2020). In this report I am sharing my work experience and insights which I used to handle the
business management relates issues as they all supported to bring changes in existing
performance and complete the productivity. By using the Gibbs reflection model I have
evaluated all activities and work which I done earlier and supported to accomplish professional
goals.
MAIN BODY
For each organization it is important to focus on management and its related activities as it
help to arrange all functions as well as activities which supports to complete the business
productivity. The employees are the main assets of business industry as they have contributed to
each functions and helped to increase the performance. I have worked with larger retailer name
was Sainsbury where number of employees working continuously. I noticed that selling and
profitability activities of company going to reduced continuously due to lack of management and
having competitors in the market where it became important to introduce kind of products and
services that would influence number of people and supports to increase the organizational
productivity. The description stage used by me to know that management is most important
while working as it affects the business productivity. There are many issues which are running in
management as lack of customers and lack of satisfaction that created the challenges to operate
their functional activities felt by me in second stage. In this, I came to know that there are many
issues in relation management that arises while working and needs to resolve properly that helps
to develop the organizational performance and profitability (Tinh, Thuy, and Ngoc Huy, 2021).
The third stages is evaluation which I used to know the reason and introduces new thoughts to

which are used to bring changes in existing performance and looking towards management of
each activity. All elements of your business should use good people management. Employment,
coaching and people development, operational procedures, and, yes, business conditions should
all be assessed on a regular basis to see where improvements may be made. Human management
tactics such as performance assessments, quality circles, cascade presentations, 360-degree
feedback, and internal documents can all help you get the most out of your employees (Schoch,
2021).
Analysis stage used by me to determine the different strategies to management such as
performance evaluation, quality circles, cascade presentation, 360 degree feedback, & internal
document which can be used by company to improve their existing performance. While working
in retail sector I analysed that 360 degree feedback is the effective technique and way that are
used by individual to understand personal and organizational development needs of an industry.
This technique used by management and employees of company works together successfully that
supports to operate a business efficiently. The people should have proper knowledge and
understanding about particular topic which can help to manage all functions and activities
effectively. KPI is the tool refers to key performance indicators that is used to analysis
performance of company and bring changes accordingly that support to develop organization
productivity. I used this tool analysis the business performance and all works collectively which
supports to improve business profits. Quality circles is the group of workers who do the same or
similar work who meets regularly helps to solve problems which can help to accomplish business
goals. While working I have analysed that my communication skills were weak as I faced the
problems while sharing with employees and leaders that affected the business sales and
profitability (Fathelrahman, 2019). Communication is most important aspects which are used to
share the data and information that supports to introduce changes while working that supported
to develop organizational productivity. The skills in which I was lack interpersonal and
mathematical skills that created challenges for me to manage the all functions and activities. The
interpersonal skill can be improve by sharing data with confidence that supports to manage all
functions and activities effectively. Moreover, I also analysed that I am good in research and
development skills which I used to conduct research about management practices and strategies
which could be used to introduce new ways to collect information and develop the organizational
performance. This can help to improve the organizational activities by collecting data. I also

practices and attain the personal as well as professional goals. It has given me opportunity to
handle all problems and attain higher productivity (Markkanen, Välimäki, Anttila, and
Kuuskorpi, 2020).
