Introduction
I along with my team have planned to build up a business of recruitment services. In this
business, we shall refer the appropriate candidate to the companies. This shall be helpful for the
right candidate to be placed in the right place. I designed and delivered a presentation regarding
the same. The complete analysis of the presentation has been discussed below.
The review of the presentation based on the individual and team perspective
After having analysed and convinced about the business to be started, we created a presentation
to provide our ideas to the audience. The presentation covered almost all the points regarding the
proper setup of the business. We have discussed the different points like the need and relevance
of the business in the market of today. The different requirements for the business like the
financial requirement, the structure of the business, type of location for the setup, the
advertisement of the business.
My team consisting of five members was completely prepared and confident before the delivery
of the presentation. We started the presentation in a high spirit with me talking in the beginning
followed by the other teammates. I as an individual was quite satisfied with the section presented
by myself because I was able to grab the attention of the audience with my proper interactive
skills. I was also able to explain my point of view to the audience as well as clearly explain to
them the queries they put forward to me. However, if we consider the overall performance of the
team, one of the team members could not keep up with the expectations of the team. The
member was unable to explain the points to the audience which lead to the distraction of the
audience.
Analysis of the personal strengths and weaknesses
Prior to the delivery of the final presentation, we conducted a lot of practise sessions so that we
would be able to identify the sections or the elements of the presentation which required further
attention in order to attain perfection. In these practice sessions, I was able to analyse my
strengths and weaknesses regarding the presentation of my ideas. Some of them are discussed
below;

are some points which must be kept in mind while creating and delivering any presentation. The
presentation must have the properties which enable it to grab the attention of the audience so that

the purpose of the presentation is fulfilled. The speaker delivering the presentation must have
certain qualities in order to make his presentation interactive, interesting as well as effective.

to control the audience with his communication skills. The person delivering the fulfil the other
criteria of effective presentation like interacting with the audience, having proper body language
to express the ideas, supporting his ideas with proper examples, maintaining proper tone and
pace of speech, being able to answer the queries of the audience arising during the presentation
and keeping the presentation precise to maintain the efficiency of the presentation (Mueller and
Anderson (2014, p.508).
There are several strategies which I have planned to enhance my strengths and rectify my
weaknesses. Some of the strategies are discussed hereby:
a) The voice quality needs to be maintained and proper practice needs to be done to enhance the
quality.
b) The speed of delivering the speeches must be kept optimum so that the audience do not miss
out the important points.
c) The duration of the presentation must be appropriate to be able to cover all the points without
consuming unnecessary time.
d) The words used in the slides should be simple and unambiguous so that the audience are able
to understand it effortlessly.
e) All the facts and ideas of the presentation must be known in depth to the presenter so that he
or she is able to clear all the doubts of the audience regarding the concepts and the ideas.
Effect of the strategies on final presentation
I followed the above-mentioned strategies to improve my weaknesses which were analysed by
me during the practice sessions. As an effect of applying the given strategies to my work, my
final presentation was far better than that in the practice sessions. In my final presentation, I was
able to deliver my presentation very confidently maintaining proper interactions with the
audience. I was able to properly explain the ideas of my business, the reasons for choosing this
business, the strategy for the settlement, the plans for the budget and the manpower required for
the business and the agenda of the entire business as well.

Feedback received from different sources
Audience
The audience present during the presentation were quite interactive and seemed fairly interested
in the presentation. They had several queries regarding the ideas of the business and I was able to
solve all their queries because I had all the concepts very clear. A question and answer session
were done at the end of the presentation. In this session, they asked me about my future plans
regarding the business.
Lecturers
The lecturers made a critical analysis of the complete presentation. They put forward the
questions like the reason for choosing the business of recruiting services. They further desired to
know about the benefits of this business as well as the vision of the growth of the business. They
also mentioned that there were some loopholes regarding the plans of the funding. They
explained that we need to be more specific about the raising of the fund as well as the resource
allocation.
Fellow students
The response and feedback of the fellow students were very encouraging as they actively
participated in the discussions and also displayed their inclination towards the contribution of
their own creative ideas into the business. They also put up some queries which helped us to
draw a comparison between our business ideas other business ideas.

any mistake or if I am unable to implement the ideas properly. At the college, I often fear to
answer the questions put forward in general due to the fear that the answer given to me may not
be correct. It is due to this fear within me; I am unable to inculcate the risk taking ability. It has
also prevented the widening of my knowledge as well as the application of the available
knowledge in the practical world.
Recommendations
There are several ways which can be followed to eliminate the fear of being at fault. One needs
to believe that making mistakes is completely acceptable as all humans learn from their mistakes.
One needs to maintain a sense of positivity to be confident of the knowledge one already
possesses. One needs to believe that he or she does have the capability of achieving their goals.
