REFLECTION
Being a Business management student this was a great opportunity for me as it help in
enhancing my knowledge regarding “how business venture generates profit” which will be
beneficial for my future career. My topic for power point presentation was “Analyse the
supermarket environment for Tesco, Lidl and Aldi”. The power point presentation prepared by
me is of two and half minutes which includes a description about Pestle and swot analysis that
help me gaining knowledge regarding how internal as well as external factor influence the
operations performed by an organisation. My experience throughout presentation was very good
and I didn't find any sort of difficult regarding the formatting of slide-show and page layout but
there are some area where I have experienced number of challenges. Apart from this I came to
know that PESTEL require more reading then presenting in slide which is more typical task for
me as I have to present information which is not mentioned into slides. Apart from this I failed to
manage time properly which leads to unnecessary nervousness at the time of presentation. This
also result in series of mistake that hindered the good presentation in front of audience, as it
would be more better if time was managed properly. But the best part of presentation was that
example provided by me for Swot analysis was understandable to audience. So I required to
consolidate my knowledge regarding SWOT analysis as it help in exerting more better
presentation in future whenever I again get a chance.
From the whole experience of Presentation I realised that making presentation to
audience is very typical task. Apart from this time-frame and team work is very essential hence
require more attention. In addition to this there are some things which I required to improve for
my future. For delivering presentation more effectively it is very essential for a presentor to
maintain an eye contact with audience and engage with them with correct attitude in order to
gain attention while presentation. Being a business management student it is very essential for
one to develop and get excel over presentation skills because it is very essential for a person
working over managerial position. Throughout this presentation challenge I have proved myself
while operating as a project leader that I posses leadership skill and have an ability to inspire
team members to work harder.

ACTION PLAN
This presentation challenges provide me a chance to have a clear view regarding my
presentation skill and where I stand in study. These skills are very essential part of a person who
belongs to business environment and specially for the person who is aspirer of managerial
position. From this challenge I have learned that presentation is all about gaining attention of
audience to make it more meaningful. So I will work toward enhancing my attitude, speech and I
also have to work over reducing my stress or nervousness related to audience. This challenge has
encouraged me in working toward improving my presentation skill and more challenges like this
will help in overcoming my stress regarding performance in audience.
