Latest trends of BPM
Based on the discussions of Rodríguez, Price & Boyer (2017), the current trends of
Business Process Management (BPM) revolves around interactive technologies such as
artificial intelligence and extended collaboration. The scholars of this journal stated that most
of the smart operations of cities like Dubai are conducted with the help coming from this
technology (Acemoglu & Restrepo, 2018). Decision making capability is one of the best
contributions of this technology as well. The scholars mentioned that corporate
establishments who deployed this technology have better forecasting ability (Lu et al., 2018).
Problem-solving ability, speech recognition technology, automated learning and planning
procedures of business are automated by this technology as cited by the scholars.
On the contrary, as mentioned by Osborne, Sundström & Bodin (2019), corporate
performance can be enhanced only with the help of extended collaboration. The scholars of
this journal stated that the productivity of the resources is increased in bigger commercial
establishments due to the deployment of the concept of effective communication. The scholar
stated that the communication issues which have a huge impact on the quality of service
could be successfully addressed by effective collaboration (Gunning, 2017). Cohesion among
the project team members is one of the significant contributions of effective communication
based on the discussions of the scholars.
However, as explained by Gupta et al. (2018), the strategic team of commercial
establishments must be understanding the collaboration functionalities in a detailed modus so
that the challenges of these processes are also addressed without affecting the production.
The researchers of this scholar stated about the principles of effective collaboration as well
such as respect, willingness, empowerment, trust and human relationship.

management trends include low code application development so that the maintenance of
the business applications is reduced. The researchers of this article suggested that the use of
the Robotic Process Automation technologies is also very much useful to commercial
organizations so that they can interact with the external processes or stakeholders of the
business (Mendling et al., 2018). On the other hand, as elaborated by Luu et al. (2016), the
use of smart contracts is reducing the human interaction procedure in a contemporary
business environment. The researchers stated that the volume of workload could be addressed
with the help of smart contracts as well.
Significance of process analyses, design and development
Based on the discussion of Leva, Sulis & Vinai (2017), business process analysis is
very much significant to understand the business processes of an organization. The gaps and
the limitations of the business process must be addressed so that the efficiency of the business
operations is maintained. The following illustration shall be very much significant to
understand the process analysis procedure in a business environment.

much significant to design the process which is maintained in business environments. Thus,
analysis of each of the process is very much required to address the uncertainties of the

the drawbacks of the business processes can be addressed using process analysis.
