In this article, the authors conduct the measurement of the system performance of
ERP or enterprise resource planning by utilising the quantitative balanced scorecard
approach. The evaluation framework of the ERP that provides the integration of the balanced
scorecard dimensions, the linguistic variables and the non-additive fuzzy integral delivers the
objective approach for measurement of both the performance level of ERP system and the
contribution to strategic objectives of high tech firms. The use of ERP is being extensively
done for integrating the information of the organisation and accelerate the distribution across
the functions and the department with intent of increasing the operational performance of the
