BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT
Introduction
The processes of any business is considered to be the core for functioning properly
and efficiently. The processes exist in each of the department as well as the teams and these
processes are considered to be majorly critical in the gaining the desired outcome of any
operation. The business process is being considered to be the effective blueprint that helps in
defining the major pathways as well as the flows of various activities that runs within as well
as among the various business functions. But the movement from any point A to any point B
along the pathways as well as executing it significantly efficiently cannot be done without
trouble.
Audit process and improvement methods
Conducting the audit of the processes that are being suggested in the organisation is
considered to be the most troublesome tasks (Alotaibi & Liu, 2017). Performing any audit of
the process is considered to be the most efficient method of gaining the proper insight in the
inner workings of the business. The audit of the suggested processes would help the company
to recognise the strong points as well as the sector of extreme weaknesses for allowing the
development of strategy for the improvement as well as the increased productivity. There are
presently various categories that are used for conducting the audits of the processes in the
company (Poll et al., 2018). The suggested audit process in the company is:
Determining the type of the final product is being provided or the complete value of
the business that is considered to the existing as well as the potential clients. It might seem as
an easy task for the company but it is required to be analysed properly (Arias et al., 2018).
The salon should execute the identification as well as the comprehension of the final goal of
the company is necessary for establishing the processes as well as the policies.

BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT
The salon needs to examine all the elements of the ultimate service or the products.
This would include the quality of the work. By the identification of the critical variables of
the business, the company would have the ability of viewing the stages of the process that are
extremely crucial than any other process and which stages are required to be streamlined or
eliminated. With the auditing process, the business would be able to gain the proper idea
about the processes that are waste in the complete business and eliminate these processes for
ensuring the optimum service delivery (Lederer, Knapp & Schott, 2017).
The testing as well as the determining of the proper methods by which the processes
are adapting to the variations that are being introduced is required to be done in the company
(vom Brocke & Mendling, 2018). There are various unknown factors that could lead to the
development of extreme difficulty for the company. the processes could adapt to and then
accommodate the unforeseen variations is probably to be increasingly successful than any
particular processes with the increased rigid guidelines that does not allow the changes.
The company should conduct the constant survey of the people that are included in
any particular process. The individuals should be observed and then evaluation of the
methods by which the processes are affected by the role of these individuals should be done
(Havur et al., 2016). The employees and the manager should have the common platform for
making the effective communication and anonymous questionnaires are required to be
effectively administered for the initial perspective on the methods by which the process is
functioning.
Evaluation of To-Be process
The proposed To-Be process in the organisation is the implementation of the mobile
application of the salon with the integration with the cloud storage. This To-Be process
should be considered to be made as the should-be process. With the introduction of the

improved mobile application, the company would be able to provide the customers with the
efficient platform for making the booking of services and products anytime they want from
anywhere. The users who were facing various kinds of issues in accessing the website would
now be able to make the booking of various services in the company and gain the various
services without significant trouble. The company would be able to store the data of the
customers with extensive in the cloud storage and ensure that all the customer data is
available to the authorised users for making the various reports. The application would be
constantly updated for ensuring that all the recent services is present on the homepage of the
application and it would allow the customers to make the booking easily.
Governance process for BPM change
Process governance is considered to be the major issues for the organisation (Tarhan,
Turetken & Reijers, 2016). the process governance is the methods by which the company
could consolidate the initiatives of the process management with the established rules, the
standards, and the guidelines that could combine towards the mutual goal. The governance
processes for the BPM change in the salon could be categorised as:
Defining as well as controlling the rules as well as the guidelines
Establishment of the procedures
Establishment of the tools for using in the organisation
Clearly determining the objectives of the processes changes
Defining the business rules
Determining the forms of the control as well as the measurement
Creation of the rules for the organisation of the processes
Defining the structure as well as the levels (Malinova & Mendling, 2018)
Directing the methodologies in the process management
Establishing the value chain as the source for the process management

BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT
For achieving the objectives of the process changes in the organisation, the stages
of the responsibility that are required to be followed in the organisation are:
The direct execution as well as the control of the business processes
The coordination, overview as well as the assistance of the management processes
For promoting as well as ensuring the reliability as well as the integrity of all the
processes in the complete organisation (Dave, 2017)
The objectives of the established governance processes could be categorised as:
Standardising the process initiatives
Encouraging extensive alignment of all the initiatives of the company
Encouraging the constant improvement of the business processes
Defining the roles as well as the responsibilities of processes (Giacosa,
Mazzoleni & Usai, 2018)
Determining the individuals who would be provided with the power of
deciding any of the procedures
Becoming the increasing agile organisation in the response to emergence of
any of the changes
Promoting the quality of the initiatives of the processes (Weske, 2019)
Change management processes on the daily application of the culture
Aligning the management processes with extensive strategic objective of
company
Ensuring that all the processes office coordinates with the initiatives as well as
provides the required support to all the included areas.

BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT
Consideration of stakeholders
The methods by which the stakeholders could be ensured connected in the process
change are:
Development of the detailed communication plan in early stages of the project: It is
required to be ensured in the organisation that the communication through the proper
channels is allowed and the methods of communication is available for all the stakeholders
for engaging in the vast group of the stakeholders (Weske, 2019). The development of the
communication management plan in the early stage of the project could make it significantly
probable that the project team employed by the organisation would be provided with the
ability of communicating constantly with the stakeholders of the project.
Development of the suitable environment for executing the initiative of processes
changes: This particular task could be done by the organisation before the launching of the
project in the company (AlShathry, 2016). All the details of the project are required to be
conveyed to the appropriate stakeholders of the project for ensuring the improved
understanding of project by the stakeholders (Lohmann & Zur Muehlen, 2016). The emphasis
must be placed on advantage of the initiative of change not only from the viewpoint of
organisation but crucially from the viewpoint of all the individual stakeholders (Kirchmer,
2017).
Recommendation
It is therefore suggested to the organisation that the introduction of the business
process management should be done for ensuring the improvement of the various processes.
The audit process should be followed by the organisation for analysing the constant benefit of
the proposed improvement process in the organisation. The stakeholders of the project are

required to be constantly conveyed regarding the recent developments of the project and
ensure that all the processes of the project are conveyed to the stakeholders.
Conclusion
From the above discussion, it has been concluded that the introduction of the mobile
application in the organisation with the help of the business process management would help
in improving all the major processes of the organisation and ensure the growth of the
company. The company is presently facing the issue of efficient inventory management as
well as the data management of the customers.
