Introduction
BPM is defined as business process management which is a discipline in operation management
where consumers utilize various kinds of methods and techniques for solving complex situations
related to the projects. Supply chain management is a major part of the business communities
that have the potential to manage and improve the performance of the developed systems [1].
The major significance of this investigation is to analyze the concept behind business process
management and review a research paper based on business process management. It is argued
that business process management is able to control and handle the project development process
effectively and reduce problems faced by the companies [2]. This research will include numerous
sections and points, for example, the content of the paper, research methodologies, findings,
issues highlighted and so on.
Content of the article
The title of the chosen paper is Business process management and supply chain collaboration:
Effects on performance and competitiveness which is grounded around the business process
management [1]. The authors argued that in terms of intra organizational development BPM has
been seen as a technique that enables the companies to perform organizational activities in an
appropriate manner. The major purpose of this article is to examine the relationship between
business process management and organizational effectiveness. The recent investigation
suggested that business process management and SCC play significance character in the
enhancement of business effectively [2].
It lacks empirical testing of their relationships with the business process management. It is very
important to control and handle issues associated with the projects and BPM has the ability to
handle such problems and provide a platform for improving the overall performance of the
companies. However, the previous investigations did not formulate a BPM development due to
which the students are not able to evaluate the issues linked with the projects. A literature review
is also conducted for a better understanding of the concept and significance of BPM along with
the SCC in the context of business communities [3].

According to the researchers, business process management is defined as an oriented strategy
that is mainly utilized to develop and enhance the business process in order to work effectively.
It is observed that the BPM process mainly focuses on the evolution and one-off changes
required in the companies while implementing advanced networks and systems. The authors
observed that BPM is able to cover radical and incremental techniques in order to evaluate
process improvement strategies effectively [4].
It is argued that there are major four key elements of the BPM process including strategic
alignment, process orientation, consumer’s involvement, and information technology. In which
information technology play a crucial character in the business process which can be used for
controlling the entire process in an appropriate manner [5]. However, enterprise resource
planning may integrate all relevant facts including, control process, planning and source
allocation for all the various departments within a firm and partners of SCC. This research
provided depth examination related to BPM and SCC along with their significance in the
enhancement of business processes.
Research methods
Introduction
It is a major section of the research that has the capability to handle the gaps and quality of the
article in the entire investigation. There are numerous techniques and methods involved in the
research methodology, for example, research design, approach, strategy, and data collection and
so on. The key significance of this section is to demonstrate experience in the context of business
process management. Using such kinds of methods the researchers were able to develop and
implement effective investigation and reduce the errors occurred in the investigation [6].
Research design
In which the investigators included a qualitative kind of methodology as the topic of this
research is subjective in nature for which qualitative design is effective in terms of quality.
Moreover, the researchers included the viewpoints of participants by conducting a survey. Using
appropriate design the researchers were capable to improve the effectiveness of the paper and
effectively developed the hypothesis in the investigation [7].

utilization of such an approach helped in implementing the research effectively along with better

It is an important section of the research that helps in gathering effective information and facts
relevant to the BPM and SCC. There are major two methods involve in the data gathering
approach including primary and secondary. For this investigation, the authors included both
primary and secondary method where primary data provide fresh information relevant to the
business process management while secondary data deliver reliable information to the research
concerns [8]. In order to gather primary data, the researchers conducted a survey with 204
manufacturing firms and in Thailand and for secondary data systematic literature was conducted
that reviewed the outcomes of recent investigations. Therefore using such kinds of techniques
and processes the researchers were capable to gather effective data related to business process
management.
Data analysis method
It is an important section of the investigation that helped the researchers for obtaining the reliable
outcomes of the research. There are various types of data analysis techniques, for example,

content analysis along with the PLS-SEM method. The authors argued that PLS-SEM is a

the entire project but the supply chain is able to handle such problems effectively. In this

problems in the companies is a key problem due to which the management teams are not able to
provide effective services to the consumers. However, the utilization of BPM and SSC can help

summarized that the utilization of BPM and SCC may help the companies for improving the
performance of the systems and management networks. The findings of this article deliver a
better understanding of the effectiveness and advantages of BPM and SCC management. The
authors reported that the utilization of the SEM technique helped for improving the quality of the
paper and reduced the gaps that happened in the investigation. The chosen paper is related to the
unit of the study where the investigators provided depth evaluation related to the business
process management.

This research provided a comparative study in the context of BPM and organization performance
and analyzed the key features of BPM and SCC process. It may be concluded that BPM and SCC
both are effective processes that may be used in the business communities for enhancing

related to business process management. Therefore, it is suggested that companies should use the
characteristics of BPM and SCC process while implementing projects and systems.
