INTRODUCTION
Business process is the collection of activities which help the organization to deliver the
products & services to the customers. It include the various task which completed in order to
fulfil the organizational goals & objectives (Kasemsap, 2020). Main aim of this assessment is to
make students aware about the business process and how they linked with each other. It will
further helps in making strategy to achieve business objectives or mission. Best Travel Group
(BTG) is selected for the better understating of this concepts.

1. Overview of the organization
Best Travel Group (BTG) is award winning company in the travel industry and it was
founded in 2005 as a travel promotion company and initially they have only 10 staff members.
But now turnover of the company is around $ 100 million annually with more than 200 staff. In
addition, BTG have two another business arms and it was possible due to innovative nature of
the company. Flexibility of the company helps in providing success as well as market growth.
BTG company grow due to its effective recruitment & induction process because they recruit
those people who are organizationally fit and maximise the retention as well. Company perform
well in the market due to its effective HR functions such as recruitment, selection, training &
development, bonus & rewards etc.
2. Identification of mission, strategy and target market
Mission, strategy and target market of Best Travel Group (BTG) is mention below and
how it is beneficial for the company to achieve its business goals & objectives.
Mission: “ Trailblaze the future of leisure travel ” It includes the three different
businesses that is alternative way of generating revenue for the company with the help of its
national or international tourism partners. Such as tour operators, resort or airlines.
Strategy: Best Travel Group follow growth strategy to support the innovation and it
make them able to achieve their mission and business objectives (Kumar, 2018). Due to
undergoing growth company recently sold their 49 % shares to global travel company. In
addition, trailblazing mindset does not seem to down recruitment & selection process of BTG.

Target market: BTG target the global market where they improve their relations with
the national as well as international partners. BTG specially target the hospitality or airline
market.
Processing Mapping
1. Identification & Justification of two business process which contributed to the operations of
the organizations
In the BTG company, there are two business process such as recruitment & induction
process that is backbone of the company. It help the organization to attract best employees and
they further perform in well manner to achieve the business goals & objectives. These process
briefly discussed below:
Recruitment process: This process is all about to attract best or suitable candidates,
shortlist, select and appoint suitable person for the vacant profile. Recruitment process in the
BTG company is simple and conducted all in house. This process start when any department
head find the need of additional human resource. Then they have to present job description for
the role which they required to recruit. It is presented in front of CEO of the company for the
approval. After the approval, hiring managers contact the recruitment team in order to decide
where to publish advertisement regarding vacant job (Mendling and et.al., 2018). Hiring manager
shortlist the candidates for the interview and they further decided that who to offer the position.
After selecting suitable candidate for the vacant position, recruitment process end and hiring
manager start the recruitment activities which include the executive assistance or personal
communication. This process can lack due to inexperience hiring manager, time pressure etc.
which can impact the hiring process of BTG.
Induction process: When selected candidate accept the position after that induction
process start. Hiring Manager (HM) request for the employment contract, payroll and for the IT
hub. IT department of BTG develop the new user ID and order applicBestle computer hardware
for the selected candidate. In the employment contract, HM include the payroll and provide the
stationary desk supplies. On the first day of selected candidate, hiring manager set up the
introduction program in the office where they show the amenities and fire exit of the company.
Along with this, on first day they need to required all the relevant documents with signature and
give back to the payroll for the further processing. HM share the knowledge with new person and

advised then regarding business policies and procedures. It will help the individual to improve
their productivity as well as profitability. Here, induction process end and it will also differ
according to the organizations and how they plan their induction process for the new people.
Effective implementation of induction program will help the new employees to engage with
others which helps in maximising retention and that is the key focus on BTG company.

help the organization to perform various activities and make them able to achieve goals &
