INTRODUCTION
In the present time, there are several new and digital technologies which helps the
organisation to distributes and transform information. It is very important for the organisation to
communicate information to their stakeholders so that they can create faith and trust among
them. Digital technologies have changed the way of doing the different business operations. It
has been analysed that these digital technologies have change the traditional business models and
transform it into new models. There are several digital mobile technologies that have served a
proper wealth of opportunities and choices. Other than that when it comes to the production, it
has given a more innovative idea to the organisation to produce innovative products and services
to the customers. Digital distribution is the changes that have been occurred in the different
business models due to new digital technologies, it has direct impact over the vale proposition of
existing products and services. It has been identified that there is rapid enhancement in the
utilisation of mobile devices for the office or personal work. This changes are known as
consumerisation of IT (Montgomery and Chester, 2013). It has largely increased the potential of
digital distribution to the many industries. The very good example digital distribution is
Amazon, Hulu Plus, Netflix etc. digital transformation is the reworking of the products,
processes and strategies within an organization by leveraging current technologies. The
following report is going to develop a business plan with respect of Asda LTD.

be concluded from the research project that there are several aspect that are included in the
digital transformation and disruption. That are cloud computing which is used in the
administration department, social media and mobile technology which is used in the
communication and connection with the customers. The internet of things which is distribution
and storage of information and artificial intelligence and big data analysis which is used in
production. All these four aspects have very important for the organisation that are
administration, communication, storage or distribution and production. These all four aspect
together helps the venture to cater the needs and wants of customers.
Other than that it can be concluded that there are several opportunities as well as
challenges that are faced by the organisation due to change in technologies. When it comes to the
opportunities then the biggest opportunity which organisation have from new technology is it
helps in increase in efficiency and productivity. When the organisation is using the different
technologies in their production department, then they are able to use that technology in
innovative manner. Other than that the technology helps them to reduce their efforts and time to
produce the goods and services, such as when the organisation is producing 100 units and after

machinery will able to products more say 200.n as well as intervention of human will be reduced

biggest assets for the organisation, venture need to be cater the needs and wants of the customers
so that they can attract and retain them. The central role of the organization is to connect the dots
and overcome internal silos in all areas in order to reach these different goals as interconnection

organisation that are marketing, operations, human resources, administration, customer
service, etc. This is because all the functions are interconnected with each other.
