INTRODUCTION
Today business environment is very complicated if one will compare it with the earlier
one. Introduction of technology has changed the business process and its activities totally. For
achieve set goals and objectives and to serve more number of customers it is very essential for
firm to use technology in an effective way (Ajmal, Helo and Kekäle, 2010). Optimum utilisation

customers. KCB (Kensington college of business) a business college which is involve in the
process of business transformation in order to increase the number of its students is taken under
this report for study. Management plan covering various aspects such as cost, time and quality of

P1 Project aims and objectives
In today's environment where changes take place in a fast speed, use of technology in
appropriate and right manner is become essential for every business enterprise. Whether it is a
retail enterprise or a education institute technology play a big role in all sectors. Technology has
changed the business process totally (Schwalbe, 2015). One of the major advantage of
technology is that it helps enterprises in promote its products which increase number of its
customers and profits. KCB is a business college which offer professional education courses to
large number of customers. Due to Brexit, large number of its customers fall dramatically. In this
situation, college wants to establish a Global campus in which firm offer education to its students
with help of technology. In this way, college can maintain the number of its students and at the
same time can increase the same. Further, technology provide media to enterprises to promote its
products. In addition to this increase cooperation among business functions (Pinto, 2015). With
help of technology, KCB college can increase the number of its customers and can promote its
educational courses in different areas.

Formulate a better and effective management plan is very essential for KCB in order to
identify the time and cost which will require to complete the project. Further, this guide and
support managers in take right decision at right time (Kerzner and Kerzner, 2017). Without this,
KCB can not implement the process of business transformation. Further, this helps in managing
the cost of project. Major factor which must be consider in project management plan are as
follows: Scope of project: Technology advancement provide an opportunity to firm to expand its
business operations and serve the customers in different areas. This make the process
expansion more effective. Management of risk: Every business project involve some kind of risk and it is very
essential that all risks must be examine by the managers so they can reduce the risk
(Polonsky and Waller, 2014). This increase the chances of project being successful. Control of quality: Quality is one of the major element which must be maintain
otherwise it increase the chances of its failure. It is very essential for KCB college to
maintain the quality of its services otherwise it will results in decrease the number of its
students. Cost: Expansion of business operations and utilisation of new technology require funds.
Lack of funds hamper the quality of project and increase the chances of its failure. So it is
very essential that KCB college should have adequate amount of funds. Time: This consists the time require to complete the project (Meskendahl, 2010). It is
very important for manager calculate the time require to complete every activity of
project and do efforts to complete all operation with minimum time.
