INTRODUCTION
Managing the successful business project acts as the key to obtain the desired
outcome from the project. In the project generally, a huge amount of the resources
are involved and the failure of the project affects the functioning of the business in a
drastic manner (Amatulli et al., 2016). The product manager is responsible for
handling the project in an effective manner focussing on all the aspects of the
management i.e. planning, controlling, staffing, coordinating etc. In this project a new
shoe is been developed for the Deeasjer Ltd. to be included in their summer
collection, i.e. Shady (Amatulli et al., 2016).
In this project, the clear aims and objectives of the project are been devised and the
project management plan is been produced which incorporated the scope, time and
cost, quality, risk and communication-related aspects of the project.in the next part, a
comprehensive report is to be prepared clearly stating the planned milestones along
with the scheduling for doing the regular monitoring and quality check for the product
(Carmignani and Zammori, 2015). Also, the small scale research is been conducted
by applying both the qualitative and quantitative researches and in the last, a
reflective statement is to be given (Carmignani and Zammori, 2015).
Deeasjer Ltd is a luxury brand for the shoe having a passion for beauty which
creates the indulgent handcrafted shoes with so much passion and love right here in
the global city i.e. London (Chevalier and Mazzalovo, 2008). The footwear collection
presented by the Deeasjer is known for the collection that celebrates the femininity
along with the luxury by bringing together the most lavish materials mixed with
astonishing designs which shows the highest level of the craftsmanship. There are
shoes available for every time of your day be it work or play (Chevalier and
Mazzalovo, 2008).

P1 DEVISE CLEAR AIMS AND OBJECTIVES FOR YOUR PROJECT
A project is been conducted to devise and create the new product for the Deeasjer,
Shady, which is to be launched in the London Fashion Week. Also, the project
focuses on the marketing of the Shady in such a manner that it helps in getting the

objectives are also been set for the same and in the SMART and CLEAR manner.
Therefore the goals and objectives are been set by the project manager in such a
way that it attained at the end of the project and the objectives and aims should be
communicated to every person who is related to the project (Crane and Matten,
2016).
Aims of the project
ï‚· To devise the effective plan for the launch of the new shoe by the Deeasjer i.e.
Shady and present it in the London Fashion Week.
Objectives of the project
ï‚· To produce the project management plan incorporating various vital aspects of
the project like the risk, quality, communication etc. for creating the new shoe i.e.
Shady.
ï‚· To produce a breakdown structure and a Gantt chart for creating the new

SMART check:
Specific
The objectives that are being set should be specific to the project rather than
being generic just like the objectives that are being like production of the project
management plan, creating a breakdown structure, quality management of the
shoe, making it presentable enough to be presented in the London Fashion Week
etc. (Goworek et al., 2016).
Measurable
The aims and objectives that are produced should be measurable and
motivational i.e. they should act as the driver of motivation like presenting it to
the London fashion week, giving tough competition to the already existing shoe
brands (Goworek et al., 2016).
Achievable
The objectives that are set should be achievable in nature i.e. it should be realistic
and not just very high aims. The aims and objectives that are set by the project
manager are easily achievable with some dedicated work (Goworek et al., 2016).
Reliable
The objectives that are set by the project manager for the designing of the new
product for the Deeasjer for launching as the summer product, Shady. Therefore
the set objectives are reliable to the main streamline of the project (Goworek et

Timely
One thing that is important for the timely compleitio0n of the project is to set the
timelines for the work as timelines help in completing the project within the

P2 PRODUCE A PROJECT MANAGEMENT PLAN
Project management is defined as the practice of initiating and designing a project,
followed by planning, controlling, coordinating and completing the work so as to
achieve the set goals and objectives for the project (Harrison and Lock, 2017). Also,
project management is the application of skills, knowledge, techniques and tools to
the varied range of activities which helps in meeting the requirement of the particular
project. In the project management there are five phases and if the high-level view of
the project is been predicted by the life cycle then the phases can be considered as
the roadmap for accomplishing the project (Harrison and Lock, 2017).
The five stages are concept initialisation i.e. stage of coming up with the idea, then
comes definition and planning which includes scope and budget, work breakdown
etc., the third phase is launch or execution i.e. quality check, status and tracking, the
fourth stage is aid performance and control which includes the quality deliverables,
cost and effort tracking and the last and fourth stage is project close i.e. project
punch list, reporting, post mortem etc. (Homann, 2016).
The scope of the project
The study focuses on the creation and development of the new shoe by the Deeasjer
called Shady. The study includes only the marketing aspect of the shoe and does not
includes the management or the funding aspect. Also, the research is done using
both the methodologies i.e. primary and secondary research methodologies. For
conducting the primary research, the questionnaire is been used which was asked to
fill by the key personnel related to the project (Homann, 2016).
Timescale and time management
The time provided for the completion of the project is starting from th3rd Jan 2019 to
29th of Jan 2019. This holds importance as it is very important to complete the project
before the deadline of the project.

Quality management
Quality management is the act of checking all the activities along with the tasks that
are needed to be done in the project so as to achieve the aims and objectives set by
the project manager (Husebø et al., 2015). This also includes the policies related to
the quality i.e. the creation and the implementation of the planning of the quality
along with the quality assurance, improvement and the control. Therefore in order to
maintain the quality of the Shady, a summer shoe produced by the Deeasjer, total
quality management tool is been applied (Husebø et al., 2015).
Communication
Communication is the key to success in any project. Therefore it is very important
that the aims and objectives of the project should be communicated to all the
personnel in an effective way so that they can work for achieving the set targets
within the specified time while maintaining the quality of the product (Keiser et al.,
2017).

P3 WORK BREAKDOWN STRUCTURE AND PROJECT SCHEDULE ALONG
WITH THE GANTT CHART
The work breakdown structure in the project management is defined as the
deliverable oriented breakdown of the task to be performed in the project into smaller
components. It can also be said that the work breakdown structure is like a key
project deliverable that helps in organising the work of the team into the actions that
are manageable easily (Kuppuswamy and Bayus, 2018). It is also defined as the
decomposition of the hierarchy which consists of the total work to be performed in
the project team in order to accomplish the project's aims and objectives. In order to
outline the project, the aims and objectives are been devised which helps me in
reaching the conclusion (Kuppuswamy and Bayus, 2018). After that, a plan is
needed for the management of the project which almost covers all the aspects like
the quality, risk, communication etc. Further, a breakdown structure is been prepared
which helps in providing the proper flowchart of the work which is to be done along
with the deadline (Kuppuswamy and Bayus, 2018).
In the project, a Gantt chart also has to be prepared. A Gantt chart is a popular tool
in the management of the project. It basically drills down the task which is to be
performed in the project in a fixed time period. The main use of the Gantt chart is to
track the scheduling of the project done. One of the most important things to be done
by the project manager is to understand the linkage between the tasks and the
activities along with monitoring them and the Gantt chart helps with the same
