Introduction:
Manage a business project using required skills and project phases that are useful to
implement it. The current assignment is to manage a project of the selected organization
using different factors of project management and the selected organization is “McDonald’s”.
The assignment includes the project aims and objectives with management plans and WBS. It
also includes research and analysis and the communication process of the organization.

LO1 Establish project aims, objectives and timeframes based on the
chosen theme:
P1 Devise project aims and objectives for a chosen scenario:
The aim of the project is to demonstrate the required skills to manage the implement a
project. Select the project of the organization, McDonald’s and understands the research and
investigation of executing the project. The objective of the project is to increase the sales and
revenue of the organization and serve quality food. In the evaluation of the objectives of the
business, define specific objectives at the end of the year with the measurable needs and
achievable time.

P2 Produce a project management plan that covers aspects of cost, scope,
time, quality, communication, risk and resources:
Implement a project in the McDonald’s with using different factors and create the
infrastructure in the organization. Use the project management as the software to manage
different tasks of the project. Cover various aspects of the project including cost, scope, time,
quality, communication and resources with risk as below:
 Cost: represent the total cost of the project with the help of project management and
the total cost of the project is £2504. This cost includes the cost of all phases of the
project.
 Scope: the scope of the project depends on the choice of the organization and its
working procedure.
 Time: show the total time of the project using the project management software and
the total time is 12 days from the initial inception to documentation.
 Quality: maintain the quality of the project with the performance of resource and
deliver quality products to the users.
 Communication: make proper communication in the team members with using the
appropriate resource and enhance the project quality.
 Risk: the major risk of the project is to timely delivery and maintains the quality of
the food with the following basic rules and regulations (Kerzner, 2017).
 Resources: the resources are helpful to manage a project and here are some human
resources that contribute to the project development as below:

Work breakdown structure:
WBS is a part of the PMBOK (project management body of knowledge) that used to define
different phase of the project with work delivers. It is the structure of project management
that used with the system engineering.

Gantt chart:
It’s a kind of bar chart that used to represent the work schedule with cost and resources. It
used to represent the relationship with the activities with the status of schedule. Represent the
Gantt chart with the start and end date of the project as below:

LO2 Conduct small-scale research, information gathering and data
collection, generating knowledge to support the project:
P4 Carry out small-scale research by applying qualitative and quantitative
research methods appropriate for meeting project aims and objectives:
The objective of the project is to demonstrate the skills to manage and implement a project.
Select the organization, McDonald’s for the current scenario and define proper aims and
objectives in the above part. Use different methods in the project for the research area as
below:
Qualitative research:
This research is used to know the visions of the people and customers of the organization. It
helps the project manager to know the thinking of the customers about the organization.
Different kinds of questions are used in this kind of research.
Quantitative research:
This research is used with different methods like survey, observations, questionnaire and
others. Conduct this research with the customers of the McDonald’s and get their feedback
that is useful for the growth of the organization (Bernard, 2017).

LO3 Present the project and communicate appropriate
recommendations based on a meaningful conclusion drawn from the
evidence findings and/or analysis:
P5 Analyse research and data using tools and techniques:
Analyse the research that conducts in the above section on the result of an above survey with
using different tools and techniques. Different types of techniques are like, meaning,
standard, regression, hypothesis testing and sample size determination. Also, analyse the data
after the research on the customers and get output to represent in the questions format as
below:

Analyse the complete project in the above part with using different tools and techniques and
provide recommendations as below:
 Increase the number of human resource with the skilled and experienced persons to
enhance the growth of the business.
 Complete the task in the allocated budget and fulfil the entire user’s requirement with
a proper procedure.
 Customize the products to increase their quality and need to serve better services to
the customers and get feedback from their side (Fitzpatrick, 2004).

LO4 Reflect on the value gained from conducting the project and its
usefulness to support sustainable organizational performance:
P7 Reflect on the value of undertaking the research to meet stated
objectives and own learning and performance:
Conduct the research to meet with the objectives and learn different things with the
organisational performance. The performance meets with the project objectives and conducts
qualitative and quantitative research on the project. In the role of project manager learn
