INTRODUCTION
Managing a project is defined as an activity of planning, execution or finishing a specific
project in a given time-frame so that expected goals or objectives will be achieved within a given
time period. Whereas, recruitment and selections are those methods that are used by
organisations for hiring or selecting experienced or knowledgeable applicants so that they can
meet with the international requirements. These methods are very important and executed by HR
departments so that competitive advantage can be gained by a firm. Present assignment is based
on Nestle which is a multinational company and providing its services in food and beverages
sector along with headquarters in Switzerland. Company offers a wide variety of food and
beverages products like bottled water, pet foods, frozen foods etc. Present assignment will
discuss about the aims or objectives of company for meeting with international requirements.
Project management plan along with several aspects like scope, cost, risk will also prepared
under this report.

According to Martin, (2016) “ Recruitment is a procedure in which an organisation
searching the applicants and encourage them for applying the jobs in firm.” Furthermore, it is a
process of finding and attracting knowledgeable or experienced candidates for the vacant

knowledgeable and skilled candidates for a particular job or position in a systematic manner.”

As per the above project, There are various recommendations which should be
considered by the managers of Nestle for improving the training and selection procedures. Some
of them are briefly discussed as under:
It has been recommended to the Management of Nestle should create effective plans or
strategies so that training, selection and recruitment methods gets improved. Management
should also make transparency in hiring and selecting of candidates.
Management have to make more investment in research and development activities so
that their creative ideas can be used for further improvements.
Training is also important for the organisation and the managers of Nestle should make
huge investment in the training of their employees so that barriers can be eliminated and
maximum efforts can be gained from them in achievement of goals.

As per the above project, There are various recommendations which should be
considered by the managers of Nestle for improving the training and selection procedures. Some
of them are briefly discussed as under:

P7 Reflect on the value of undertaking research to achieve stated objectives and own learning &
performance
In order to analysing such aspects, I have selected 40 respondents who are working
within the firm and these employees have provided their views and opinions on the asked
questions. Through taking their views and suggestions I have completed the research programme
in the given time-frame. During carrying out the research programme, I have also faced some
issues like shortage of time and budget but later I have overcome such issues from taking support
of my friends and guides. My research and communication skills were not so strong which have
also influence me during the execution of research programme but after joining seminars and
conferences I have easily improved my these weaknesses which also assist me in completing
research programme along with desired objectives.
CONCLUSION
From the above report, it has been concluded that managing of projects are not so easy
because in it various aspects like cost, time, scope are involved which are essential for the project
manager to considered for completing the project in given time-frame. Gantt chart and WBS are
also important because it guides the project managers in completing the project activities in a
pre-determined time period.
