Business Promotion
Business promotion happens when the business communicate with the audience so
that they can influence them to avail the product from the company. These are important for
the company to expand in the market and to achieve success in the process (Halkier and
Damborg 2018). Every organisation do their business promotion in the marketplace to gain
popularity in it and can lure the customers towards them.
There is a vast difference between business promotion and business advertising. In the
case of the promotion, all the medium is meant to be used to become popular in the market
and to lure the customers. On the contrary, business advertising refers to one specific medium
through which the company will make the customers aware of their existence in the
marketplace (Gertler et al. 2015). Therefore, the company should understand the difference
that is there between the promotion as well as advertising.
The business promotion enables the company to understand the best medium to
promote their product or service that they are providing to customers. This will automatically
help them to adopt a strategy in such a way so that they can reach to the customers in less
possible time. This will increase the profit earning of the company and help them to
accomplish what they intend to obtain from the marketplace (Patel, AlShourbaji and Al-
Janabi 2014).
The business promotion is essential for the small as well as the medium-size company
who are entering the marketplace as it assists them in reaching to the customers. Hence, it can
be noted that if the company want to expand their business in the market, they need to
involve the promotion so that they can attract the customers to avail products and services
from the marketplace (Bhojani 2016).

The promotion enables the company to choose from the different promotional channel
and also provide the information regarding the medium that the company is choosing is
appropriate for the company or not. This will ultimately help the company to adopt the proper
medium in the process to achieve success in the marketplace and to gain popularity in the
market (Pádua and Jabbour 2015).
Therefore, it can be said that the promotion is more effective and also enables the
company to expand in the market. This also attracts the customers in an efficient way
possible so that they can gain popularity among the consumers. This helps the company to
generate revenue from the market by cutting down the cost of promotion, where the company
is unable to attract the consumers.
