PEST analysis is a tool to analyse the impact of external environment, it also states
current business position and the measures that business can take to overcome the opportunities
and threats of the business. This report states the overview of the business ideas and PEST and
analysis of external environmental factors and the how the company responds to these forces.
MAIN BODY
Overview of proposed business idea
Medicine.com, in an online pharmaceutical company dealing in supply of medicine to
people living UK. People can buy medicines online and the ordered medicines are been
delivered at the door steps. Medicine.com have an online website which renders all the
necessary information pertaining to the objectives of the company. Customers login to the
website in which they upload prescription given by Doctor, the list of medicines are added in the
screen the customers orders the medicines. Medicine.com follow an effective supply chain
management to control the flow of goods at different locations. After customers order
medicines, they are been transported from the warehouse to respective delivery points.
Medicine.com focusses on providing quality services, they also ensures good consumer
experience. The effective workforce in medicine.com organisation manages all the functioning
of the business. There are different department like research and development, finance
department, human resource department, marketing etc. these departments coordinates with each
other to accomplish organisational objectives (Carruthers, 2009).

and cover the cost incurred.

It involves the social belief, cultural value of people in a society. Medicine.com serves
the people by rendering medicines at door steps so it would accomplish the social responsibility
of society and organisation objectives of health and well being of people. It achieves overall
customer satisfaction by rendering quality services at affordable prices. It sells original and
authentic medicines to the customers. It also provides medicines to different age groups which
provides convenience to all the customer of search all types of medicines at one place.
T – TECHNOLOGICAL FACTORS
Technological factors involves technological advancement and technology factors affects
organisation environment. Medicine.com uses the advanced technological forces like cloud store
to maintain and store all the big data related data to all the relevant information of the company.
It stores the data of number of transactions, the cash inflow and outflow etc. Medicine.com also
uses Radio Frequency Identification Device in order to detect and track the movement of the
objects from manufacturing unit to the warehouse units.
