The Business psychology is the approach which is used integrally to apply the human
psychology in an business organisation. The applications of the human behaviour is correlated
directly with the employees performance. By gaining the insight about what motivates an
individual will help the organisation in targetting those needs which will enhance their
productivity resulting in increased organisational capability (Arnold, Kiel and Voigt). There are
various skills which is needed in an individual to gain competitive edge in the corporate world.
The constant up gradation and brushing of skills is required in order to address the personal
developmental needs. The aim of this report is to highlight various skills which is needed to be
possessed by an individual remain proficient in business world. Lastly, the action plan is also
developed in order to enhance these skills and PDP is also made with motive to develop an plan
to achieve some requite skills.

To remain proficient in the organisation an individual must know the strength and
weakness in order to better work upon them. The constant honing of skills needs to be done in

According to the assessment of self during this course helped me to analyse from my peers
that I am responsible while doing my work but need to be bit more organised. I need to better
prioritise my work and try to complete that work between that set limit. I also feel that I
somehow complete all work but exceed by set time limit. While at time of making my
assignments in college my mentors recommended that I do my work efficiently but didn't
deliver before deadline mostly.

The contradiction was not found while I analysed the views given to me. I also somehow felt
that I need to deliver my work within set time frame to better organised at work. To overcome
this I am working efficiently to plan my gaols and priories by setting it time-frame. I

From the above analysis, it can be said that the I am good at creativity and innovation. I
have the ability to analyse the situations according to its priority. I have the ability to deliver the
work on time. The analytical presence of mind and situation is there. I have that confidence and

management is also understood. The thinking of out of box patterns is also possessed by me.

need to increase my confidence.
