4. Correction of business inefficiencies through business reengineering through IT
It has been seen that the GAAM has the purchasing process that is very complex in
nature. The purchasing process in GAAM in operated through the exchange of the MRO
card. Currently, the organization has to maintain 8,000 cards. While handling this cards, the
manual process is needed. In this case, there is a possibility of the human error. The
implementation of the software can be generated for maintaining the track of the procurement
or purchasing. Through this software the track of the purchases will be kept in right order.
Apart from that the request for the new purchased can be stacked in the system of the
software.
With the use of this kind of software the possibilities of human error can be mitigated
through the process. Apart from that the proper management of the purchase information
along with the transaction ID can be maintained through the use of software. Apart form that
the organization is currently maintaining a complex problem regarding the immediate
purchase. The sequence number regarding the immediate purchase is different from the
sequential number generate by the organization for the purchasing. In this case, maintaining
the sequence number for both the general purchase order and the immediate purchase order.
In this situation using the different functions through software can resolve the problem.
In order to implement the software system in the GAAM, there is a need for the
business re-engineering process followed by a proper monitoring for the implementation of
the digital disruption in the organization. There are certain benefits for maintaining the
software system in the procurement and the purchase project. Apart from that the setting of
the price for the purchasing is done through the manual process. In this case, there can be a
possibility that the pricing may not be appropriate for the purchasing process. There are
certain parameters on basis of which the pricing is needed to be done. Through the

implementation of the software can maintain the right price on the basis of the right
evaluation of those parameters. It can be said that the business re-engineering process will
improve the flexibility of the whole process of GAAM.
5. Identification of the technologies those can improve the system in the business process
There are certain technologies those can be helpful for the implementation of the
proposed digital disruption at GAAM. Some of these technologies are emerging in nature. In
order to maintain the overall business process enterprise management system can be
implemented. However, GAAM can chose a software for managing a particular section of the
business. In this case, software like Tally.ERP or Zoho book can be used for the proper
tracking of the purchase in the accounts department. These are the software those are capable
for maintaining the accounts information along with the purchasing details. The use of
BookKeep software is also rational solution as it will generate the invoice for the every
purchase. The generation of the invoice will prove the authenticity and accountability of the
purchase.
However, the selection of the software or application is needed to be done on the basis
of the requirements for the software. If the GAAM has to manage all the processes related to
the organization functionality, enterprise management architecture is suitable for the
organization. This is because the enterprise management system will help in the overall
development and the management of the business. In case, if the organization is only
concerned about the development and the improvement of the accounting system and the
procurement along with the purchasing process, the accounting software can be taken into
consideration.
It can be said that adopting the accounting software would be more suitable for the
organization as it implies that there is a need for GAAM to improve the accounting system.

There is a need for paying attention in the purchasing process of the organization. Apart from
that in order to increase the flexibility of the business process the mitigation of the
complexity in the accounting process is needed to be done. Moreover, the errors due to the
manual process in the accounting department will affect the revenue of the system directly. In
this case, it can be said that the implementation of the accounting software is feasible solution
as it will mitigate the human error and make the purchasing process flexible.

The discussion is regarding the business process reengineering in the GAAM. During
this course, the improvement of the procurement process along with the purchase process is
needed to be revamp. In order to maintain the procurement process in a proper way the
implementation of the accounting software is proposed. The consequences of the
implementation of the software has been discussed. It can be assumed that the re-engineering
of the system will help GAAM to generate the business in a better way.
