There are different business issues that will lead to have direct impact on performance of
business. It is essential for organisation to identify and determine various issues that lead to have
impact business and its performance (Wang and et.al., 2020). Business issues lead to have
negative impact on business as well as influence over growth and development of organisation.
For example, Marks and Spencer company is facing different issues due to lack of effective
technology with I organisation. By determining various business issues organisation will be able
to take correct action as well as resolve business issues. It is crucial that organisation is adopting
new technology for successfully conducting business task as well as increasing overall
performance of business. Organisation will face different issues while adopting new technology
with in business and it will have direct influence over performance of business. Different
business issues related to adapting new technology is mention below in detail. Adopting correct technology – There are different technology in market area that will
lead to have direct impact on business practices. Selection of correct technology is one of
the major issues for business. For example, Marks and Spencer company is dealing in
retail market area and it is crucial that this company is considering effective technology
in order to successfully perform business practices. If organisation is not able to select
right and accurate technology it will lead to have major impact on business and its
functioning. In market area there are different technology that is developed to resolve
different purpose and issues (Egfjord and Sund, 2020). Due to more choice of technology
in market area it will lead to have major impact on overall performance and practices of
business. In this organisation have to conduct effective market research in order to
determine affect of new technology with in organisation. This is one of the major issues
in adopting new technology in business. Introduction of new technology in organisation
includes various risk and it will lead to have direct influence on business. Right implementation of system – There are chance that company is not able to
implement or introduce new technology in business. Right and accurate implementation
of new adopted technology is essential for organisation and it will have direct influence
over business. This is another business issues as company will face issues in dealing

integrating new technology with different business functions. For example, Mark and
Spencer company will have to integrate new technology with its business functions and
practices. It has been determined that buying technology is not enough for organisation
as company will have to engage business activities with system and procedure in order to
gain maximum output. It is very difficult for company to successfully and effectively
integrate new adopted technology with its business practices and procedure. Lack of staff support – This is consider as the issues for organisation as many employees
are not resistance to change (Turgunpulatovich and Bulturbayevich, 2020).
Implementation of new technology will lead to have significant impact on behaviour and
attitude of customers. Lack of support from staff member will have direct impact on
overall performance and productivity of business. For example, staff member or
employees of Marks and Spencer company are not support organisation to implementing
new technology with in organisation. Due to lack of staff contribution and support with in
organisation will have significant influence on business practices. Company will face
issues of failing to win staff over new technology. Employees are very important part of
business as because of lack of support from staff member company will not able to carry
out task in better manner. Inadequate staff training – Lack of training to employees will lead to have direct and
major impact on overall performance of business. This is consider as major issues as
because of inadequate training to staff employees will not able to understand how to use
new adopted technology in most effective manner (Montiel, Gutiérrez and Castillo,
2020). This will lead to have negative impact on overall performance and productivity of
business. Staff training is very time consuming process and it will require more business
cost to provide effective training to employees. For example Marks and Spencer
company employees does not have adequate staff training to use new technology then
they will not be able to gain maximum benefit of technology and it will lead to increase
in business cost.
Not monitoring the data – Monitoring of data or leak of important information is one of
the issues for business. Due to adaptation of new technology with in business it will lead
to increase the danger or risk of leaking information. For example Marks and Spencer
company will not be able to monitor data and information in more accurate manner due

to new technology implementation. It lead to increase the risk of data security or misuse
of information.
Reflective
When an organisation is working in business environment, it encounters several issues,
few of which ends up giving it opportunities to succeed while many of the issues results in
exploiting its weaknesses to create a threat for the company. For example, in the case of Marks
and Spencer, we can see that company is not good with technological advancements and this
weakness of the company has raise a threat for it. This has helped me in realising that for us to be
successful, we need to adapt new changes that is going in environment otherwise, we will lag
behind and others will develop an advantage over us in this competitive times.
While preparing for this report, biggest that I encountered was data collection. It was not
easy to collect appropriate data for the company that can help me ascertain the issues that
businesses face (Vakaloudi, 2020). Without the proper data being collected, it becomes difficult
to analyse and come to a good conclusion that will not only help me learning from the company's
strengths and weaknesses but will also help me learn from the company example as to what I
should and should not practice in life to achieve greater heights.
This module has helped me learn that it is very important for not just a business
organisation but a person as well in life to learn to do right things at the right time for once the
right time is gone, opportunities are also gone with it to achieve success. It is grabbing
opportunities at the right time that can help person achieving an edge over others that will help
them in their future life. This is the another issue that I realised with myself while researching for
this academic researching and writing is that I need to work on my time management skills. This
is a very important skill that comes from discipline and can take a person to a greater heights.
Great leaders like Elon Musk,Tim Cook and Jeff Bezos have also time and again stressed on the
importance of time management for a person to be successful in everything they do. Had I
managed my time properly, it would have helped me research in a more extensive and structural
way. Working on my time management skills will not only help me have a better career
prospects in life but will also help me in my overall personality development.
Through this model I have learned about different new aspects which will be effective
for my future performance. I have gained information about different issues faced by company

while adopting or implementing new technology with in organisation. I will use this learning in
my studies and future career (Karami and et.al., 2020). Understanding of different business
elements and issues will assist me in taking better decision with in organisation. I will be able to
increase my performance and potential through learning form this model. Information gained in
this will be beneficial for successfully and effectively conducting required practices.
