INTRODUCTION
The present report will highlight the importance of the collaboration tools in making the
work effective and better over the period. Also, the study will identify the advantages and
disadvantages of the cloud computing, e-commerce and cloud storage. Lastly, certain privacy
and security challenges will also be identified along with benefits of the local network in
conducting various works in any business.
MAIN BODY
Identifying any two collaboration tools and discussing how they have helped businesses
Collaboration tools are ones that helps the group of individuals in accomplishing certain types of
gaols within the specified time-frame Also, there are various of tools that are been described as
follows:
Slack: This is one of the online messaging app that all the employees of any organization to
communicate in most effective manner within the limited time period and get the instant reply
without having nay kind of problem (Guillén, Sawin and Avineri, 2020).. Moreover, it is most
popular platform that have allowed the employees to connect in the best manner without putting
many efforts and have provided ease within the business even while working in remote areas
during the ties of pandemic.
Advantages:
 It has the advantage of the creating channels within the company and these might be
either for any particular project or for the any particular department
 These channels have the option to be either public, private or shared depending upon the
subject matter thus ensuring more confidentiality of the information
 Easy to download large amount of data without facing many problems
Disadvantages:
 The conversation within this tool gets deleted within the 14 days and hence if there is
any important data than it might be easily removed without having large amount backup
 Due to minimum file storage large and big file transfer are not possible using this tool
and hence this is less effective in this manner

 Slack notification are pooped up every day and there are greater chances that most
important message is left out by the employees during the hard times of the organization
making it ineffective tool for long use.
Skype: With the geographically dispersed team it is very difficult to communicate with each
other and carry out various task (Borissova, Dimitrova and Dimitrov, 2020). Thus, this
collaboration tool is used where not only employees but other than that large number of the
people might be connected on the single platform and communicate through messages, video
calls, share files and much more.
Advantages:
 It saves lot of travel time and money for the business allowing people to connect in
minimum time and efforts
 Data might be easily exchanged within the real time through video conference features
and thus helpful for the business to make effective business decisions
 It offers free mobile and tablets app that might be even used by the business employees in
times of emergency anytime and anywhere
Disadvantages:
 Risk of technical issues is much higher and in times of emergency if employees is not
able to connect with other people due to camera malfunctions or dropped connections
than it is totally useless tool for the business
 It is another tool that is affected by the cyber bullying where the chances of being hacked
is also very much and anytime data being shared by one employee might be accessed by
third party thus creating more security issues (Rashid and Chaturvedi, 2019)
 This technology requires the Wi-Fi or 3g services that would be little costlier for those
employees that are working from remote areas if they have limited resources
Discussing Cloud computing, cloud storage
Cloud computing is means computing through delivery of various services and resources
through the mode of internet. It allows all the computers to be connected with single network and
helps in easy sharing of various data and other field of importance. Some pros and cons of using
such type of the tool is as follows:
Cost saving: this method involves very less cost as it does not require any kind of
physical hardware investment to make it run in the best manner

High speed: it is very efficient in ensuring the high speed in delivering any kind of
service in fewer clicks
Backup : also this cloud computing allows in easy backup and restore of essential data that is
otherwise very difficult
Cons:
Performance: when any business is working on the cloud computing there are chances
that performance varies due to any of the technical issues or the outage (Alam, 2020)
Security threat: Cloud computing also have the Security threat problems where the
security is at risk. Thus, sharing company sensitive information might allows the hackers to
easily access the company data and creates problems in the future.
Lack of support: Computing companies fails to provide proper support to the customers
and hence due to this reason there are chances that there is no technical assistance
Cloud storage on the other hand is one where the data is residing on the removable
storage device and the might be easily accessed by the server. Also, this has also certain pros and
cons for the business that are briefly described as follows:
Disaster recovery: Here the data is reduced to the risk of recovery and hence there are
backup services that might be helpful through this
Data can be accessed anywhere: it does not require the availability of any place and
hence data through cloud storage might be accessed from anywhere
Low cost : this is also having the low cost advantages that is great for the small business
that are having limited resources

It has been found that during the pandemic that the organization were involved in many
information which were essential for the communication technology. This was also said to be
related to the issues that are related to the privacy concerns of an organization. It has been found
that these security issues of the ICT are also considered to be the factors which have impacted
the performance of the corporate world specially during the pandemic (Sun, Hahn and Liu,
2018). Here are the following security issue that the organization had to face,

Ransomware :
These are attackers that have the power of encrypting the an organizations data.
Cryptojacking :
These are also the cyber criminals which capable of secretly victimizing towards an
system and generating cryptocurrency out of it.
Threats against data :
Due to the pandemic the stealing of user data increased a lot as the most of the users were
focusing on trading information with the means of digital software.
Malware :
Rise of the pandemic also gave the rise to the different issues which were to be
recognized in the different types of software that was able to impact the organizational success.
Disinformation/misinformation :
The lack of information which also resulted in the increase of misinformation was the
reason due to which the practices of the organization was affected.,
Threats against availability and integrity :
Due to the lack of present resources there was a huge scarcity of the resources that are
available for the security purpose of the organization.
Email-related threats :
These are also considered to be the threats which had allowed the businesses the ability to
dodge or prevent the users systems and also be able to assess the information which was essential
for the presentation of data.
Supply chain threats :
Increase in the negative impact digital issues started to impact the supply chain of the
organization that was able to generate a negative influence to the factors which were responsible.
In order to respond to the factors that affected the business during pandemic digital the
following practices can be undertaken,
 Ensuring that the organization is able to alter its operations when it is facing major issues
of gaining control impacting the performance of business (Sarker and et.al.,, 2020).
 Being able to manage the remote access that the business was able to give to the
organization was said to be the key towards the ways in which the company can monitor
their digital operations.

 Developing the remote workers in a way that they are able to understand the organization
social engineering attacks for the business.
 Ways in monitoring of the privacy policy of the organization was done helped in the
expansion of the business for being able to gain effectiveness in the operations.
Discussion on benefits and drawbacks of Russian network
The conflict that is between the Russia and Ukraine has been due to the Russia trying to
invade Ukraine in marking a steep escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War. It is also said to be the
invasion of Europe's fastest growing refugee crisis as 6.7 million Ukrainians had to flee from the
country (Akbari and Gabdulhakov, 2019). Due to this Russia wants to develop a network in
which the no other country will be able to have any access to it. Hence, it will be an internet of
Russia which can also be said as the large scale private WAN (Wide Area Network). Following
are the benefits of having such a network are,
Multi-site connectivity :
This is going to allow Russia to be able to adopt with the multi-site connectivity in the
private network through different site.
Reduce business risk :
In such a network the risk that the businesses had to face due to the fear of the reduction
of cyber crime. Hence, it will help them protect their data from the criminals world wide.
Productivity :
Due to the increase in the security and privacy of the network Russia is also going to be
able to increase the speed of this network making it faster than anything that is already out there
for the other countries.
Purchasing options :
Russian government would be able to charge with the use of such privacy network which
is also going to be very effective in the interruption of the ways and tools that are required for the
management of job violence and video conferencing (Yan and et.al.,2018).
Scalable Bandwidth :
The bandwidth of the network would be easily to be fluctuated in order to meet the needs
that are across the different sites for meeting the needs and the future needs of business to grow.
Quality :

It is going to be the network which would be able to ensure the quality of the
performance of the internet speed and other issues that are generally the issues.
Military benefit :
Due to being a private network it will provide the military the power of hiding their
essential information and communicating with secrecy.
Following are the disadvantages of using such network,
 This network will restrict the users to be able surf across the global websites and is going

 Security of this network is also going to an issue from the local threats that are also
considered to be one of the ways in which they can provide the users.
 Establishment of such a network would cost Russia a lot of money that it can invest else

 In order to maintain such a large network of its own Russian government would have to
make more investment which are related to the ways in which they affect their
operations.
CONCLUSION
From this report it can be concluded that information communication technology is said
to be the factor that helps the business in management of the networking that is the key essential
toward performance management. This project will help in understanding the key terms
associated with using internet. It will help in taking the responsibility of personal security and
privacy. This will allow the organization develop online research skills and also be able to
manage the digital communication.
