the base company and it is found in 1999 by Richard and John Smith. It is an electrical
engineering company that deals with high voltage Electric Power Contractor in Huddersfield,
West Yorkshire, UK. It specialises in high and low voltage power generation and distribution
systems. Smith Brothers Limited has a net turnover of £20.1M and more than 60 employees are
working in this organisation. Recently, they have redesign Waters Corporation's Software
Development Centre, in which they have transform the place into a place of energy, fun and
scientific innovation. Its competitors such as Housing Maintenance Solutions Ltd, PWP Building
Services (Holdings) Ltd, Polyteck Building Services Ltd and many more are there to compete
with each other in terms of their turnover and operation of work. In this report, it covers about
SWOT analysis, using corporate social responsibility by businesses and innovative and creativity
in the business to improving and expanding their organisation.

SWOT analysis is a tool which helps in finding its current situation and planning for
future growth. They are used to develop strategies for making the organisation stand out from the
competitors (Ali and Garg, 2017). SWOT is an acronym which stands for strength, weaknesses,
opportunities and threats. Strength and weaknesses are internal factors which can be modified
and has control over it whereas opportunities and threats are external factors which cannot be
change and has no control over it. SWOT analysis of mentioned organisation is explained below- Strength: Strength is considered to be the positive factors that are in control of the
organisation and on basis it is stand out of the crowd. In relation to the selected firm, the
organisation is launching new and innovative products. Also they have multi disciplined
engineering skill which do their jobs on time with safety. Weaknesses: Weaknesses are the attributes that the organisation need to improve in order
to be the competition. Such as inadequate supply chain, lower revenue and so on. In
relation of Smith Brothers, due to launching of innovative products, the cost occurring to
them is high which will create impact on the profitability of the organisation.

the plant. It also include construction, commissioning and electric balance of plant.
Furthermore, they will be incharge of construction of 3 substation and laying cable route
between photovoltaic park and substation of National grid.
