Introduction
In the is third assessment of the project, the learning experiences gained by me while the
research study was conducted have been presented as a synopsis with intent of presenting its
efficiency and appropriateness besides, briefing the learning process for describing the objective
behind the study and learning
Week 1: evaluation of effectiveness
While undergoing the research project I have come across a wide range of learning activities
whose handling have eventually helped me in obtaining the profound acumen in better
comprehending the practicabilities that revolve around the relevance, awareness and the effects
of branding in the context of an eminent bank operating in Australia in comparison against other
banks who are indulged into little or zero branding. In addition, while conducting this research it
became evident that the current situation of the Australian banking sector is in the state of unrest.
Moreover, during this knowledge gaining program it was also found that for addressing these
challenges banks need to build a system maintaining compliance with the core nature of the
business. Also the pragmatic learning exposure acquired throughout the execution of the project
has further extended the limited scope of my understanding beyond classroom learning, which
undeniably is the best part of the learning process.
Week 2: usefulness of learning experience
The experience acquired by me while performing this research learning activity has turned to be
a significant knowledge gaining drive, which has played a key role in helping to apprehend the
importance of branding, its awareness and effects in the context of a banking industry and how it
relates with the society at large. Besides through this learning process I have gained detailed
understanding about the structural format and composition of research proposal and as a result of
that helping with the requisite elementary skills for the development of an adequate research

outline. It has also been observed that the kind of learning environment that I was surrounded
with throughout the execution of this research activity has ultimately improved few of mine soft
skills like self management, time management and interaction abilities
Week 3 - Week 4: usability of learning gained during the process
During this research project the overall process of learning has significantly contributed in
getting my knowledge enhanced beyond lectures provided in classrooms for gaining a detailed
comprehension about the significance of branding, its awareness and its impacts on the banking
industry and how it relates with the society at large hence, developing my practical rational
judgement and implementation of conceptual learning. Furthermore, while performing the
different activities of the research process the contributions of numerous literatures of other
scholars were scanned through, which eventually has evolved my extensive learning about the
chosen research topic besides helping in broadening my analysing skills for determining the gaps
that were evident in the literatures related to the research. A key role has been played by these
skills in the successful accomplishment of my research activity through practical contributions
thereby, providing a strong base to my learning experiences. Besides, the effective utilization of
the knowledge that has been obtained during the execution of the research will be benefiting in
the future career settings of mine because of the enhanced evaluative and execution skills
revolving around how to document a research. Moreover, the in-depth comprehension reaped
from the various stages of the research design has further a complete learning environment
exposure to me that eventually has strengthened my applicable knowledge besides the
improvement of certain skills like time management, communication and presentation skills.
Week 5- Week 6: Overview of learning process and happenings
The learning experience that I had gained was broken down in two different parts where in the
former part literally focused on outlining a proposal, which when was accepted by the teacher
was followed by penning down a literature review on the chosen research subject revolving
around the significance of branding, its awareness and its impacts on the banking industry and
how it relates with the society at large after referring, assessing and consulting numerous
academic journals and scholarly articles with intent of increasing the authenticity quotient of the

research study. On successfully accomplishing the reviewing portion, the next stage was
identifying the gaps based on which Assessment 2 has been outlined. Based on the gaps the
business research has been framed in the second part, which was started by outlining the project
objective of the research followed by defining the project scope that has helped me to establish
the research aim. In the next step, a literature review on the chosen topic was briefly discussed
followed by specifying the research design, methodologies and process apart from describing the
techniques adopted for collecting useful data and finally, the limitations and conclusions of the
research had been drawn. According to my opinion the overall learning process has been
effective since it has furnished the scope of decisive learning under a practical setting further
empowering me in expanding my skills beyond classroom learning.
Week 7- Week 8: Evaluation of learning
While going through the entire learning process relative knowledge about the significance of
branding, its awareness and its impacts on the banking industry and its relation with the society
at large was gained. While conducting the study it came to my knowledge that an increased level
of uncertainty focusing on the pace at which the banking industry witnesses change is hounding
over the banks driving them towards strategic disruption besides leading the revision of future
point of view regarding estimation and returns. With the help of the learning experience I
achieved success in effectively learning the considerable approaches that was further adopted in
giving structure to the literature review and business research. Moreover, the research has
significantly contributed in gaining abundant knowledge about the methodical steps that should
be pursued while penning a research. In addition to this, the value of the experience that has been
gained by me is extensive, as it has turned out to be a holistic learning teaching me how
theoretical knowledge gained from classrooms should be applied into actual practice eventually
making significant contributions within my future career prospects. Also I have learnt different
ways of getting the objectives accomplished. Additionally, the research process has contributed
in gaining benefiting experiences in regard to hypothesis and processes of the business
researches that are its indispensable part. Besides, conducting the research has helped me
obtaining clear idea about how to select the suitable respondents in order to accomplish the
objectives.

Week 9- Week 10: Description of learning process
The primary reason behind choosing this particular topic for my research relied mainly on my
limited knowledge about branding, its importance, awareness and impacts on the banking
industry and its relation with the society at large. I always wanted to gain detailed
comprehension about what branding actually is and hence, when an opportunity to execute a
research activity and presenting a literature review on my subject of interest I was consciously
ready to grab it. While performing the inceptive research assessment numerous scholarly
contributions were studied by me on the chosen subject for better comprehending the concept of
branding in context of banking industry, which was followed by turning inside out the ways to
analyse its impacts on the society. The literature review was presented in the Assessment 1 of the
research study while a proper research proposal was framed by me in the Assessment 2 focusing
in the selected research topic besides addressing the limitations of the Assessment 1 study. To
begin with the Assessment 2 gaps of literature were identified first for specifying the issues on
the subject following which an extensive research was executed where the objective and the
scope of research were literally defined for increasing the effectiveness of the overall assessment
besides accomplishing the formation of research questions, hypothesis, designing the research
methodologies and framing the time plan.
Week 11: Planning of using learning gained
The learning gained from the research study has been a satisfactory learning experience that has
helped me in strengthening the theoretical knowledge besides helping me in acquiring a relevant
comprehension about theoretical application of the concept learnt during this course and research
study within a practical setting. I came to learn about branding, its significance, awareness and
impacts on the banking industry and societal relations further clearing my acumen on the
research subject besides inspiring me to a broader research in future for better application of the
knowledge gained. The experience received from this research activity has enlarged my logical
thinking and communication capability that will help me in future workplace.

Week 12: Applicability of learning gained
It was learned that the industry’s current and future operations are given shape by six powerful
forces namely technology, changing demographics, consumer behaviour, subdued global
economy and government, owing to rapidly changing business environment, so understanding
and identification of these elements during the research study has helped me equip my learning
to use them in future business or work applications.
Besides, important contributions in my comprehension about the selected research subject have
been made during this relative interpretation, which will be further useful in practically applying
in my future career prospects. Furthermore, my practical knowledge revolving around how a
research study is documented has been enhanced by this research apart from cultivating my
expertise focusing on the elementary skills that are required for a good research project which
would be useful during future practise.

on branding besides growing the practical apprehension by relating the academic learning to
