I have conducted business research on Ford with the aim to ascertain the importance of
sustainable supply chain. For this project I have followed the instructions given in the module
sincerely. In order to get successful in graduate employment, I have to retrieve this module. I
have managed to prepare the business research report by following all the instructions provided
in module brief. In order to attain the aim and objectives of my research I have constructed the
business research report but failed to elaborate it in explicit and in detail manner. There are
plenty of reason which are important in order to retrieve this module. In order to build and
develop my career in the respective field, I need to retrieve this module. If I fail to retrieve this
module than eventually I have to move on to different career opportunity. I am focusing on this
module because by passing this module I will be able to capture enormous opportunities in future
and will be able to get secured and sustained job. To advance my career and knowledge in
respective field I need to retrieve this module. I failed to pass this module due to lack of coherent
work I done in the research report, lack of academic writing skills and due to insufficient
awareness of appropriate principles, theories, evidence and techniques
and little evidence of critical engagement with the material I was not able to frame the business
research report in effective and efficient manner. I was not able to provide requisite information
at an exceptional level of detail which drastically affects on my grades. Though, I tried my best
to give explicit knowledge and understanding about the sustainability issues in supply chain
management of Ford motors. My writing skills are not as per the disciplinary norms of the
presentation which damages my grades. Thus, these all are the weaknesses which reflects
directly on my work. In order to get successful in business research project I have to overcome
my weaknesses and further needs to work more hard and diligent so that I could get higher
grades and become successful in the research project.
2.) Respond to interview
If an interview, I was asked why I got failed in the module, I will respond honestly about
my weaknesses and incapabilities to carry out the project. I will communicate that due to unable
to comprehend the questions adequately, I failed to answer the what was asked in the report. To
overcome my weaknesses I will develop mitigation strategies and work on my comprehension

and writing skills so that I can make significant improvement in my next attempt. I learned many
things from the failure and work efficiently and effectively in order to improve in my next
attempt. I will further tell them about the issues and difficulties I have faced that affects my
grades and the overall projects outcomes. The major difficulty I faced during the project was the
complicated brief and module. It was confusing and complex which I was not able to
comprehend it. There were so many things given in the brief that makes more ambiguous for me
I was not able to identify what is to be covered in the whole project. Second was the limited
availability of precise literature and researches in the subject matter which affects my secondary
analysis. Thus, these were the challenges I faced in the whole project which affects my research
study. In the interview, I will provide detail why I got failed in the project and will also articulate
about the mitigation strategies I formulated so that I will not fail in the next attempt. I will
comprehend the assignment and brief efficiently so that I can enhance my learnings and produce
a quality report. I will respond to the interview in explicit and succinct manner providing detail
understanding to the interviewer why I got failed in the assignment.
3.) Ways through which failure can turned into advantage
From this failure I have learned lots of things which I can use them in my next attempt. In
order to enhance my learnings I will make contact with my tutor and take his guidance before
commencing on the next attempt. I will learn more and more in order to increase my level of
knowledge and skills regarding the topic. This will helps in increasing my understanding about
the subject matter effectively and efficiently. I will acquire new and authentic sources where I
can access to reliable and precise materials. Failures are part of success and I wont get disappoint
with this failure rather I will prepare mitigation strategies so that I could become successful in
the field. I will prepare and conduct the research study systematically so that I will get good
grades in the next attempt. Due to inadequate and insufficiently description of theories, research
methodologies and principles I failed in this research project. In order to accomplish the aim and
objectives of research in my next attempt I will focus on formulating robust research study so
that I can score good marks. By moulding my failure into success by using mitigation strategies I
will be able to attain the aims and objectives in the next attempt. I will read the brief carefully
and then commence on the research. I will ask my tutor whenever I face any difficulties or
confusion for his guidance. Guidance from tutor helps me in providing right direction of success.
I will commence my work systematically and efficiently so that each and every aspect of the

research study can be covered in effective and efficient manner. I will try not to repeat the same
mistake twice instead I will learn from those mistakes and then commence on my research study
afterwards. I will focus on what the project is asking for and provide specific information
regarding it. Thus, in this way I will transform my failure into success.
