1. Topic identification
The prime determination of the research is to identify the relationship and common
aspects organization culture and innovation management.
Justification behind the selection of the topic: This topic is very much interest
for my project team as there is an increasing conflict among the employees of a business
due to the incorporation of any new concept. According to the recent trends it can be said
that organization culture gets affected due to innovation management.
2. Literature search
The data collection method which was selected by our team is secondary data
collection where data in the form of peer reviewed journal has been collected from Google
Scholar. Good textual understanding about the topic was understood from the data
collected from peer reviewed journal.
According to Rothaermel (2017), most of the employees of a business environment
faces huge amount of challenge regarding any type of changes such as the technologies
used and the deployment of the innovative business practices. The paper highlighted that
each of these concerns have a huge impact on the organization culture and ultimately
leads to low productivity (Eisend, Evanschitzky and Gilliland 2016). However, as
elaborated by Elsbach and Stigliani (2018), organization culture have an impact on both
the organizational growth as well as innovation management (Bortolotti, Boscari and
Danese 2015). The paper helped in understanding that performance of a business
depends upon the maintaining organization culture and address the challenges of
innovation management and each of them are connected with each other.
But, as elaborated by Dubey et al. (2017), gathering of ideas and adapting new
ideas are the most significant aspects to create a professional culture. The paper
supported the discussions of by Elsbach and Stigliani (2018), the same time this data
source helped in understanding that both disruptive innovation and incremental disruption
can be enhanced in the first place if innovation management is handled in a professional

indicated that the efficiency of the resources is very much useful to deal with the
challenges of innovation management.
As declared by Prado-Gascó, Pardo and Pérez-Campos (2017), there is a
connection between each elements of organization culture such as chain of command,
span of control and degree of formalization and innovation management. The researcher
of this journal highlighted that capabilities of the resources, strategies of the business,
structure of the business and the business culture which is maintained in the business
(Alvesson and Sveningsson 2015). The paper highlighted that solid management is also
very much useful to address the challenges of innovation management and challenges of

Motivating each of the employee is a must for each of these two concepts. The cultural
traits of the leaders is very much useful to address the challenges of managing
organizational culture as well such as communication issues, maintaining the employee
turnover and the diverse categories of business conflicts.
3. Statement of research problem
There are diverse categories of challenges associated with the identification of the
common aspects of innovation management and organization culture such as the
selection of the innovation strategy which has to be aligned with the business needs of a
business. Lack of collaboration and diversity among the stakeholders of the business are
the other concern associated with the identification of the common aspects of maintaining
organizational culture and innovation management. Our team shall work on addressing
this challenge so that the common aspects of these two concepts are identified.
