This reflective report discusses advantages and disadvantages of outsourcing business
functions. It supports to critically analysis problems that are faced by the company at the
time of outsourcing of business functions. This reflective report has a wider scope as it
supports to comprehend the pros and cons of outsourcing business functions.
Evaluate the effectiveness and your usefulness of the learning experience
This reflection could be imperative for me to enhance my understanding about advantages
and disadvantages of outsourcing the business functions. I observed that the outsourcing aid
the organization to manage their restraints such as cost and time. It is examined that
outsourcing is a business process by which multinational organization gives their daily
function to third-party organizations (Lushey and Munro, 2015). It is effective to manage
time and cost of the corporation and obtain a feasible outcome. This learning aids to improve
my professional skills that could be effective to make my career in human resource
management department. From the analysis of literature review, I observed that outsourcing
is implied as a business process in which organization can outsource their certain business
function to the third party for operating their business and decline the cost of the company.
For illustration, a multinational telecommunication organization may outsource their
customer care service the third party, which has higher skills of managing such kinds of
activities. This kind of activity could be used by me to outsource the business functions.
Through this, I am capable for outsourcing the business acts to their party and attain the
organizational goal in the least time and cost. From evaluation of literature review, I pointed
that the outsourcing is determined as a business strategy that supports to allocate business
procedure, functional, and decisions from the corporation to their party (Mackeyand and

I realized that outsourcing could be performed by the vendors who have many liabilities such
as production process, asset management, quality and people management, and customer
services. It would be imperative for effectively outsourcing of business activities in future. I
also realized that language barrier could negatively influence outsourcing of business
function in an effective and obtain a reliable outcome. I observed that when the corporate
outsource their business activity in another country then the employee of organization could
face complication at the time of interaction with consumers. It will negatively influence the
outsourcing of business functions (McCusker and Gunaydin, 2015). As a result, there are
possibilities of higher dissatisfaction among consumers due to language barriers. This
experience was effective because it assists to critically analysis the disadvantages of the
outsourcing business functions. I understood that outsourcing of business function could
negatively influence organizational image due to inappropriate behaviors of the third party. I
understood that if a corporate invest huge amount of capital in the building, machinery, and
furniture then the firm should outsource their business to the third party for getting higher
success and operating their business. It would also be imperative for managing the investment
outlay of company. This research study is not only effective for improving my technical skills
but also improve my professional career. The outsourcing enables the organization to manage
their business activities and mandate them to focus on security and legal compliance
(Silverman, 2016). I also realized that the business research supports to enhance my research
skills as it would be supportive to get an effective result from the research. Furthermore, I
also gained my understanding about the research design that would support to examine
accurate methods to conduct research and attain specified research aim and objectives. I also
gained my understanding about the mixed data collection method that could support to collect
data by considering both qualitative and quantitative data collection method Taylor, S. J.,

research scholar. Through this, I enhanced my existing knowledge about research.
Consequently, I would be capable to create my competencies and obtain a reliable and valid
