Critical comparison of different types of research
There are two types of research such as qualitative and quantitative which supports in
enhancing potential of business. Qualitative research type has lots of benefits such as it is a quite
simpler method to use. It cannot be calculated but it can be observed. This method supports
scholars to maintain quality of research assignment while collecting data over the proposed
research topic. In the qualitative research method, data is represented in the form of chart, graphs
etc. which makes research interesting for the readers to read. This research methods provides
much more flexible approaches through which research can be conducted more easier way. This
research method is completely relying on researchers experience so it can develop misleading
conclusion. It is one of the major drawbacks of this research method (Brennen, 2017). On the
other hand, quantitative method provides information related to research topic in the
mathematical figure which can calculate and interpret by scholars so this method is also used by
amount of expertise. However, this method also posses’ number of benefits such as it allows
scholars to reach a higher sample size. With this method, scholars can collect information
quickly as compared qualitative method (Ghauri, Grønhaug and Strange, 2020). The major
downside of this research method is that it is bit complex for using purpose and it provides
information into mathematical term so everyone cannot understand easily. But these both
research types qualitative and quantitative have been used for this research because these are
important for collecting authentic data over the proposed research topic.
Evaluation a range of data collection methods
There are two methods of data collection such as primary and secondary. Primary data
collection method supports to collect actual information from the business environment which
already available (Rutberg and Bouikidis, 2018). On the other hand, secondary research method
is used to collect secondary data from the available resources like published research papers,
articles, internet and social media about projected research topic. These both primary and
secondary data collection methods support to collect effective data. In this proposed research
project, secondary research method already has used by scholar in the form of literature review
through which secondary data has been collected. However, primary method also has been used
for this research. Primary data collection method are survey and questionnaires methods that

have been used by researchers to collect primary data related to research topic. Thus, primary
and secondary both data collection has used by researchers for this research.
Identify a range of data analysis tools
Thematic data analytical tool is used to distribute data into different themes. It is one of
the best data analytical tool because it helps to pick appropriate data from available data and
distributes into different themes which can be easily interpreted by scholars. This analytical tool
has used in this research project to interpret data effectively.
Identify sources of support
There are various sources of research that have been used for the research project. For
example, Internet, social media, published research papers, articles etc. supports to collect
secondary data (Sim and et.al., 2018). Literature review is the one of the effective tools of
secondary research method in which records different views and perspectives of different authors
over the proposed research topics. To collect primary data, scholars selects 100 care workers
from XY limited company as sample population by the random sampling method. This sample
population supported researchers to collect information related to research topic through the
questionnaire’s method.

Reflect on own findings substantiate initial LR
From the overall research project, I enabled to observe that homecare companies require
to provide better growth and development opportunity to the care workers. In addition,
companies require to give good pay structure to the care workers which encourages individuals
to give best performance in the workplace and maintain their wellbeing. There is one of the
major reasons of high employee turnover such as they are not getting any career exposure as well
as financial benefits which leads satisfaction in them for the job and encourages them to retain in
the job. This information has gathered by the literature review (Riger and Sigurvinsdottir, 2016).
This systematic review has involved different perspective of different authors which have stated
in their published research papers and articles. On the other hand, data analysis method helps to
gain actual information related to research topic. For example, selected sample populations share
their views over the proposed research topic through the questionaries which becomes easy for
me to interpret effectively. When I interpreted primary data then I analysed that homecare
companies needs to bring change in their organization culture then it can get profitable outcomes
on their business. overall, I did not get any new information from the primary research method
because all collected information is similar like literature review.
Identify potential users for the research findings within practice
This research findings will prove supportive for all healthcare and homecare companies
which are facing high employee turnover issues (Paradis and et.al., 2016). In this research report

has been highlighted current issues like leave issues, poor employee relationship with
management, lack of growth and development opportunity, poor organization culture due to this
care workers are leaving the job. There are several solutions that has recommended for such
healthcare and homecare companies which they can implement to resolve identified issues. Thus,
this research finding will prove supportive for the potential users in it’s business sector.
