Introduction
Learning journal is considered to be the collection of notes observation, notes, major
thoughts and other materials and studies which are demonstrated form period of time which
can be associated with a field work or any kind of placement experience (Bassot 2016). A
learning is prepared on a personal basis which may reflect the individuals actual experience and
personality.
One of the major relevance of knowing about research can be based on the part of
informing a particular action, proving a theory and contributing for the purpose of
developing knowledge in respective study or field (Bruno and Dell’Aversana 2017). Research
can be considered as an effective tool for the purpose of building adaptive knowledge and a
strong facilitator for leaning.
we had to prepared 4 assignments where each assignment was divided in to different
marking category depending upon the actual and accurate mode of research required under the
respective areas. The first three assignments were group assignment for us where we had to
form our own group and complete the assigned task through idea sharing and adaptive
participation. In my team there were three members Bibek Bogati, Sadikshya Pariyar including
me.
The core part is related to the topic selected from our side was based on the “Effect of
Social media advertising on buyer behavior”. For the successful completion of the project
several information were collected from various sources such as news articles, journals, case
studies and many other required websites.

Learning Process
This respective learning process will be more beneficial for me in the future where this
has played a key role in the part of increasing my knowledge and on the other hand also
improved the critical thinking skills associated with me in the part of preparing research-
based projects. This project completely guided me in the part of becoming an effective thinker
through the process of selecting a particular topic and conducting a deep research-oriented
information for the same (Vicary, Young and Hicks 2017). While preparing this respective
assignment I was able to develop some innovative approach and new skills in me which fully
improved my thoughts and abilities effectively and logically. This research provided me with
adaptive knowledge and ideas regarding the social media advertising effect in the consumer
behavior.
Learnings from Assignment 1
It was my first group assignment which is had to prepare through developing a team and
it was something which was apart from my experience. During week 1 It was a challenging
part for me under the area of selecting a suitable and appropriate research topic and
conducting research for the same. The topic selected and the particular question under which
the research related to was a bit complicated part where it was difficult to get more effective and
accurate information based on certain effects of social media advertising in the buying behavior
of customers.
The positive part was that at the time of working on the respective assignment topic,
I was able to gain strong and advanced knowledge about several social media platforms at its
impact in the business. During week 2 we had to prepare the literature review part which was

a challenging segment for us to demonstrate a perfect and accurate theory through understanding
different ideas and perceptions made by authors regarding the selected topic. Week 4, after
completing the literature review part we were able to present and identify research problem
and research question based on the assigned topic.
Learning from Assignment 2
Compared to the first part of the assignment, during week 5 after conducting topic
approval the other segment was not much complicated in the part of conducting research
literature review. Under this the literature review part was divided in to three major segments
which included an introduction part, Sources of social media and several questions
demonstrated after conducting the literature review part.
Under this respective part it was easier to collect relevant information but the core area
which includes several perceptions and theories demonstrated by the author was a difficult
area in the part of gathering appropriate and valid information for the topic selected. I made
reference from numerous new articles, case studies, websites which was problematic part
for me to gather information related to the topic (Fernández-Peña et al 2016). From this I learned
how to apply right information for a particular topic through critical thinking process. I believe
that instead of giving more emphasis on general write up we could have concentrated more on
figure and facts to make the study more advanced in order to achieve better marks.
Learning from Assignment 3
Conducting research was not at all a difficult part for me. The research process
was successfully performed through proper method and selection of methodology. In the first

part I was able to discover that research approach is completely based and is depended upon the
research philosophies that are employed with the respective study. In this, for the purpose of
identifying the disadvantage and advantage of social media advertising in business I used
both quantitative and qualitative mode of research from which I will be able of design a strong
structure and can get more accurate and specific information about the conducted study.
The best source which was used for the purpose of gathering information was based
on preparation of questionnaires as they are more time saving, cheap and also gives valid
and clear-cut data. The quantitative and qualitative data collection process was important for
sampling techniques. From this complete process I learned how to gather and collect information
from various sources required to conduct a research.
Benefits from the research conducted
Research and Assignments are considered to be an important segment in students’ life.
Being a master level student this respective subjected has guided me completely on all basis.
This respective learning process will be more beneficial for me in the future where this has
played a key role in the part of increasing my knowledge and on the other hand also improved
the critical thinking skills associated with me in the part of preparing research-based
projects. This project completely guided me in the part of becoming an effective thinker through
the process of selecting a particular topic and conducting a deep research-oriented information
for the same.
For my Future Career
In order to be a strong and innovative business individual it is important to remain more
advanced along with having the tendency to move according to the changing environment.

Market research is considered to be a major part which helps in the area of providing more
competitive advantage for the organization over their competitors. Research techniques is also an
enhancement platform which helps under the part of managing risk in the business. I hope that
several studies associated with my subject will be more beneficial for me in the future in the
part of building and developing better system of thinking and problem-solving skills in me.
About my Contribution
In order to complete the respective task in a successful manner the core strategy adopted
from our side was where we distributed the topics among the team members, each one of them
had the core responsibility of collecting and gathering adaptive information about the topic
provided with more accuracy and effectiveness. From my side I was able to deliver best results
for completing the assignment. I helped my team mate under all different segments associated
with the assignment through giving adequate instructions as per the lecture notes assigned to us. I
learned the system of team management along with the process of facing and overcoming
challenges during any complicated situations.
Self-Assessment
According to me I believe that team management and coordination is one of the core
parts of challenge faced by us during the assignment preparation. In our team there were no
proper and systematic planning and the members were not all on a goal-oriented aspect. If we
developed and maintained adaptive mode of communication and proper goal setting in our team
the results could have been far better.

Conclusion
After completing the assignment, I was more confident about conducting
business research applying skills and knowledge about which I have learned. It
would help me at every stage of life from daily to business life. Research plays a
vital role in making any decision. Another thing that I have realized after doing the
group project is that group coordination needs to be taken into consideration. There
entire process and knowledge which I gained so far during the completion of this
specific assignment will be more beneficial for me in the future.
