1. Evaluate the effectiveness and your usefulness of the learning experience
This reflection report is beneficial for me to gain the knowledge of social and economic impacts
of rising in housing price on low and medium income household in Nepal. In this way, I have
learned that the ratio of Nepal’s population to existing land is approximately 600 individual per
square kilometer. I have also increased my knowledge regarding the condition of Nepal. In this
way, I have pointed out that poor housing and homelessness will affect some social
circumstances in the country. As a result, I am able to assess the social and economic impact of
increasing housing price on low and medium income households in the future. I have also
learned that overcrowding in Nepal can also lead to creating the maximum possibility of children
who suffer from respiratory issues (Baker, Mason and Bentley, 2015). Thus learning experience
is useful for me to become a good economist in the future. From the business research program, I
have developed my understanding of the social effect of increasing housing price is poor
education. In this way, it is addressed that poor housing in Nepal being a closely populated field
would lead to worsening of education (Brueckner, Jan, and Lall, 2015). This learning would be
utilized by me to enhance my career in the banking sector of Nepal.
2. Explain how this learning process will be useful to you
During the business research course, I have learned that unemployment could be created due to
poor housing rate in Nepal. In this way, I have pointed out that poor living standard between the
low and medium income household may create low-quality education and lack of education. I
will transfer this new knowledge and insights into the future in terms of obtaining professional
growth. From this business research program, I have increased my understanding that high-
priced housing in Nepal would increase the number of crimes. Moreover, increasing housing
rates on medium and low-income households will make unaffordable housing in Nepal.

I have also increased my knowledge about the economic impact of rising housing pricing on low
and medium income households. In this way, I have learned that the increase in housing rate will
aid to enhance the infrastructure (Cotton and Schwartz-Barcott, 2016). Moreover, I have learned
that cheap housing is related to deprived infrastructure and facilities. This new learning would be
applied by me to become a good researcher in the future.
3. Describe objectively what happened in the learning process
I read different articles, newspaper, journals, textbook and online article for developing the
information regarding social and economic impacts of rising in housing price on low and
medium income household in Nepal. I also saw YouTube video regarding the research issue to
gain my practical understanding (Felson, Marcus and Cohen, 2017). Furthermore, I have
accessed Google scholar to get the information with respect to the research issue in detail.
4. Evaluate what you learn
The business investigation was beneficial for me to improve my investigation competencies as it
has developed my knowledge regarding the different procedure of investigation. Moreover, I
have gained my understanding of the research methodology and design. In such a manner, it
could be assessed that research methodology illustrates a different technique that would be
practiced for attaining the investigation and gathering the data (Gyawali, 2002). Consequently, I
am competent to practice the research methodology when conducting the investigation.
5. Explain your learning process
The main cause of performing the different practiced within the investigation is to attain the
research aim and objectives in a particular time framework. The key practice that was
implemented by me is to execute the research technique. In such a way, it can be evaluated that
mixed research design would be practiced for generating the information as it involves the

features of both qualitative and quantitative investigation. This activity was performed to obtain
the feasible result in an effective way (Leigh and Blakely, 2016).
Another activity is associated with choosing the approach of investigation. In such case, I have
pointed out that both qualitative and quantitative strategy would be practiced for acquiring the
quality of the investigation. Moreover, it could be assessed that qualitative strategy is chosen to
collect the data in terms of views, opinion, and description while the quantitative approach is
practiced for collecting the information in the context of numeric information. Through this
investigation, I have also increased my knowledge with regards to a gathering of information. In
such a manner, I have observed that both primary and secondary data gathering is practiced for
collecting the data. In this way, I have learned that primary information could be collected via
survey through questionnaire and interview and secondary information can be pooled through the
journal, textbooks, and articles with other web sources (Stegiopolous, Hwang, et. al., 2015). This
learning experience is beneficial for me to exercise this activity in the upcoming time period.
Throughout this investigation, I have increased my experience with the sampling tool. In such
manner, I have observed that simple random sampling can be practiced to provide the equal
chances of selected the participants without partiality in the investigation. This learning
experience would be valuable for me to become a good investigator in future because this
business research has developed my understanding to select the respondents from a large number
of population. As a result, I can acquire feasible result throughout this investigation.
6. Explain Plan how this learning you will apply
From this investigation, I have developed my knowledge about the scheduling of investigation.
In such a manner, I have learned that research plan offers the blueprint for completing the
investigation. Along with this, it is assessed that time plan is exercised for graphical presentation

of investigation schedules. This learning would be applied by me to assess the social and
economic impacts of rising in housing price on low and medium income household in other
nation in future (Wachter, et. al., 2015). This learning could be also effective for me to become a
good economist in the upcoming times.
