Reflective report
Learning form the module was very effective in order to increase my knowledge and
understanding regarding different aspects. Through this I was able to gain in depth knowledge
and information about the research method in the business practices along with its importance to
attain desired objectives. I have identified that there are various aspects which is associated with
research and it assist researcher to collect accurate data. It has been determined that in order to
accomplish desired objectives it is important that individual is focusing on considering different
methods or approaches of data collection (Srivastava, Singh and Dhir, 2020). This assist in
enhancing overall performance level and finding relevant data. While conducting this module I
have determined that there are various crucial elements of business research such as aims,
objectives, literature review, research method, data analysis, finding and conclusion. All of these
aspects of research needs to be performed in correct and accurate manner with the motive of
accomplishing set objectives. Through this module I have analysed that business research
includes practices of finding information that is related to specific topic or problem. Data which
is collected needs to be used in appropriate way so that research problem could be successfully
resolved. In this module first I have gained information about the business research as well as the
process which is significant for performing different activities of the research. I have analysed
that it is important for researcher to analyse and evaluate different aspects of business while
developing aims or objective of the business research. I have learned to develop a proper and
accurate aims that is significant for defining the issues or problem in appropriate manner. from
the learning of this module I have analysed that aims of the research will lead to have major
affect on all over research activities as well as accomplishment of the aim. Once the aims is
develop and approved then research question needs to be developed. I have identified that
research questions are based in the research objectives. These questions needs to be answered
through literature review (Ghouri and et.al., 2020). I have determined that literature review is
crucial element of the research practice and this help in finding information that is available on

different sources by experts. This is effective in order to find right and appropriate information
about the topic in order to increase understanding of the researcher.
Through this module I have identified that there are different methods and approaches of data
collection. I have analysed that data collection is one of the crucial part of business and it will
lead to have direct impact on attaining set goals and objectives of business research. In this
module I have gain understanding regarding primary and secondary methods of data collection. I
have identified that both of these are effective and useful method that helps in finding relevant
information about the topic (Musa and et.al., 2020). Primary data collection method can be
describe as the process of identifying information that is collected for the first time and it is
helpful for determining accurate data which is according to the requirements of topic. Whereas
secondary method of data collection includes the procedure of finding information that has been
collected in the primary data. I have gain learning about the different sources of data collection
such as questionnaire, interview, survey, journals, books, news paper and so on. All of these are
effective method that helps researcher to find and collected needed information. I have analysed
that sampling is another important part of research practices. This can be describe as the way of
considering sample that is responsible for representing views of whole population. Through this,
I have identified that it is more complex for researcher to collect data or information of the whole
population size so sampling is effective way that assist in showing information and views of the
population. I have determined that there are different ways selecting sampling so it is crucial for
researcher to determine pros and cons of different sampling techniques in order to select the most
relevant and accurate sample. In this module I have gain information about the importance of
data analysis. I have determined that researcher needs to evaluate and analyse data in effective
manner form the collected data so that right or desired outcome could be accomplished. This is
beneficial for taking right decision as well as resolving issues of the business. I have identified
that it is important for researcher to consider ethical consideration while performing activities
of the research. Ethical consideration is significant for providing right and accurate guidance to
the researcher for performing activities. This lead to have positive impact on research practices
as well as assist in reducing misuse of collected data (Abbasi and et.al., 2020). While conducting
learning activities of this module I have analysed that my effective communication skills is
helpful for performing data collection practices. Through this skills I was able to collect and
gather needed information by communicating with different respondents. I have determined that

in order to improve data analysis practices I need to enhance my analytical skills. This is one of
the crucial skills that help in determining or evaluating different information in appropriate
manner. Due to lack of analytical skills I was not able to analyse or evaluate the collected data.
This lead to have major impact on the desired outcome of the research and affects its results.
