1PROMOTE EFFECTIVE SERVICE DELIVERY
For the evaluation and development of a program, consultation with the client and
stakeholders is an essential thing. Without successful consultation no work can be done
smoothly. Many authors give importance to the effective communication while evaluating and
developing a program (Harris & Barnes, 2006). When I consult with the clients regarding a new
business program, I follow the following rules:
Being a ‘safe’ pair of hands: The meaning of the expression is that your saying must have
similarity with your action. This quality helps to construct trust and integrity with the
clients and stakeholders.
Pay attention in detailing: This requirement is very crucial. It is very obvious that trust
builds only when proper and information is delivered to the clients without any error. The
consultant must ensure that the work is free from any grammar, spelling and calculation
mistakes.
Think before doing: It is the duty of the consultant to listen the directions of the clients
carefully. If the clients give any instructions then it is the duty of the consultant to listen
that but after keeping in mind other aspects.
Sometimes clients provide their feedbacks after listening the proposals, verifying the
information. Their feedbacks include both positive and negative feedback. If it will be
observed that they provide feedbacks to make changes in the proposal and the feedback is
justified, then necessary changes has been made to respect the decisions of the client (Blank,
2017). If I get any feedback from the clients to make changes in proposal I also have taken
the advice into consideration if found justified.
