them is Business management, which is defined as the better managerial skill's study of the
business endeavour. Enormous skills are developed in the academics & they are very important
in forming the personality of a person. Listening, composition, linguistic process, presenting and
many more are the examples of academic skills. And as soon as a person holds grab over them
than are the professional skills, which are also known as external skills of individual in social
environment or workplace. Business management is not an easy subject to study in fact many
different types of challenges each with its different hurdle are faced by the person to learn good
managing abilities. But as soon as an individual has learnt to get over the challenges a good
impressive business person with the complete package of academic and professional skills is
created. Both of the professional and academic skills are of outstanding value in all the different
parts of living. Team work is an effective part of academical and professional skills. Team work
means being able to work with colleagues and friends effectively without any difficulties.
Challenges of studying business management and thriving in professional
practice
For the progress of an organization studying business management is of great importance
and includes many difficulties(Mitchell and Larry, 2021). As an individual has to bring changes
in own mindset developing of business management can be very challenging so is studying the
process, which initially for every entrepreneur or business leaders has always been difficult.
Learning a new subject that too something vast like business management is full of many
hardships and requires a lot of time and consistency hence making a simple process far more
difficult. Few common challenges that an individual faces in the studying the process of business
management are mentioned below:
 Being introvert: During the initial phase of life, one of the most ordinary problem that
almost every individual encounters is being uncomfortable in head-on with strangers
facing elbow grease while communicating with them. This quality creates challenges for
the students in class room & getting the better at this concern is really intriguing as it asks
a person in manoeuvring out of the individual consolation zone.
 Management of time: Managing time for different activities initially is very hard for
every student while studying. There are a lot of things active in student's life at any

specific period of time & assigning utterly regular time to each of these work is often-

period & providing needed magnitude of time to all of the task, not only it prevents from
creation of chaos even makes it easy for a person to do all task efficiently.
 Teamwork: Another critical component for educatee to learn during the coarse of
perusing business management is to evolve the ability to co-ordinate & work with fellow
schoolmate as a unit or team(Pandita and Ray, 2018). Often students lose interest in the
studies and class if they are not being able to align with the other schoolmate on the
contrary if an individual is able to connect with class fellows it creates their involvement
in schoolroom.

mates a person needs to be content with own self first. Self esteem can be defined as
being capable to honour personal soul. Perfection in theirs academic skills assists an
individual develop some respect and pride for themselves eventually resulting in making
the person chesty about himself.
 Development of self-confidence: Confidence is the primal requirement for success, it
aforesaid and believed by numerous important leaders. Giving a optimistic approach &
mental attitude towards doing any thing is defined as confidence. Eventually a job is
meant to fail if the individual is not confident about himself in doing the job. Completely
learning academic skills aids in hiking an individual's confidence.

Professional skills
Skills and abilities that an person learns and uses in the their respective professions and
workspace are known as professional skills. Different types of professions demand various
variety of skills such as team work, improvisations, communicating efficiency, emotional
intelligence and many more such skills are used in different profession(Liu and Hallinger, 2018).
These skills make the job of a personal smooth and easy, hence creating better chances of
progression in the the work and personality. Few of the most common used professional skill's

capable of adaptation for whatever presented position & as per the situation. This is
mastered by an individual by not being rigid and by focusing on them self hence
becoming characteristically powerful & being able to adjust with other accordant to the

 Innovation: innovation is a synonym for creativity. And creativity can be defined as
ability of thinking outside of the box. Innovation has helped drastically in many owners
of the firm in evolving ways which can preserve time, increase productivity, hike the
profits, finding easy ways to complete the tasks and many more.
 Leading ability: leadership of a unit is a very difficult task that needs profound thought
process capability & self-confidence. This is one of the most important professional skill
as a firm or job would not be a success if their leader are not capable of holding the team
together and administrating the work smoothly.
Demonstrate effective team working skills
Teamwork skills is made up of integral abilities that tells an individual to work efficiently
in an organized group. Teamwork skills essential to workers, owners, administration etc. Team
works makes the task easy for the members and even generates certain affection of the members
towards each other and the job(Succi and Canovi, 2020). There are many essential and vital

skills in team work like hearing problems and providing solutions for them, work management,
good communication between the seniors and members, leadership and many more. Working
together as a unit increases the efficiency of the job. Not everyone can be a team player as it is
quiet difficult ability to gain. Few of the most common team work skills essential for any
individual are mentioned below:
 Communicational skills: for a group to work effectively each person who is member of
that group should be able to communicate their thoughts and ideas to the group. As
knowing the perspective of all the individuals is important as the members might be
facing problems or have an impressive idea, for that a good communication should be the
core quality in a team.
 Administration or management skill: this ability is associated with the team leaders.
The leader of the group should be able to know about all the the strengths and
weaknesses of the members and should allot them their respective job accordingly. This
is known as good management skills(Bourn, 2018). This is very vital as without proper
management they may rise chaos and would damage the work quality of the team.
 Coordination: coordination among the members of the team is very important, in fact is
a number of people are working together effectively only than a team is formed. Without
coordination a group of people are not a team they are just individuals working
individually. This avoids any conflicts among the unit and even make the members
emotionally connected.

As per this report it has been concluded that studying business is not an easy task as it is
accompanied with various challenges like time management, working effectively in team and
many more. In order to study effectively an individual needs to learn many academic skills as
they bear great importance in the life and even helps in shaping the personality of a person.
When it comes to a professional person, professional skills are equally important. Professional
skills guide the business person or workers to grow both his personality and and the job. It has
also been found that team work is very important in bringing out more from each individual of
the group.
