This research is significant to me for increasing understanding regarding the impact of social
media on business: Case Study on Mc Donald’s. In such way, it is evaluated that social media
has different blocks that could be effective to create visibility among public such as
communication, sharing, identity, relationship, social presence, and reputation of corporation and
groups (Dijkmans, Kerkhof, and Beukeboom, 2015). I have also gained my understanding of
social media. In this way, I have pointed that social media is a set of internet-based application,
which had developed the technological foundation of the web 2.0 and aids in exchange and
creation of user-generated information. Thus, this learning was useful for me to use the social
media in an organization.
2. Explain how this learning process will be useful to you
This learning process can be beneficial for developing the awareness about the use of social
media and social networks by Mc Donald’s. I will apply this knowledge to use the social media
and promote my business in the future. In such way, I have increased my understanding that Mc
Donald’s has been highly active on social media as it is effective to connect with digitally savvy
customers and helps to build loyalty among customers. I will also transfer this knowledge to
