Reflection report
I gained my knowledge about the advantages and disadvantages of using social networks in
business. It can be evaluated that the social media is the best way of advertising the business
at the global level. The organization has used as a marketing and communication tool in the
business operation. For this sense, social media can enable an organization to share their
ideas and important information regarding product and services of company among the
potential consumers (Burt, et. al., 2013). In addition, it also permits people to register on the
social media, connect, and comment on the posted subject. Hence, social media make
networks different workers which are specifically effective for marketing.
I understood that the research learning was useful to improve my professional and personal
life. At the same time, the whole knowledge can help to make a career in research field.
Along with this, I also learned that an organization can imply the social network as a
marketing and advertising tool. At the same time, it can also be said that I created depth
understanding about advantages of using social networks in the business operation. In
additionally, I understood that the social media can direct impact on the performance of the
business in long-term. In addition to this, there are some significant factors that show the
advantages of social media named business advertisement, online retailing, and feedback
mechanism. Others factors are communication platform, Marketing Avenue, business
research, contact information, and increase opportunity (Laranjo, et. al., 2014).
Moreover, I learned that such factors can be effective to improve the financial condition of
the company as well as support to make a robust relationship with the company in long-term.
Further, the social network can support to simply discover the information regarding the
consumer needs and preferences. In addition to this, it can be said that it also supports to
online retailing of company product and services in the specified time that can attract a large
number of the consumer in favor of the company (Bornmann, 2014). It can also evaluate that

At the same time, it can be said that I learned that low production can be a major issue for the
organization at the time of social network implementation in the business operation. I
understood that in case employees misuse the network of the company then it can decline the
production of the organization. In addition to this, cyber insecurity can also be a second
major issue in the business operation it is because an organization shared their private data in
front of the web that creates insecurity (Burt, et. al., 2013).
At the same time, I also learned that individuals hack the confidential data of company for
their personal benefit and blackmail by using the modern social media tool that will also
become a disadvantage for business operation. In addition to this, I also created my
consciousness about the project objective. I also gained my understanding about the scope of
the project in an effective manner. I created my understanding about two types of research
questions such as primary and secondary. I also understood about research design to collect
the data for resolving the research issues in an appropriate manner. I also gained my
awareness about the probability sampling method. The probability sampling method provides
an equal chance to all the research candidates to respond survey through a questionnaire
(Batjargal, et. al., 2013). I learned about two kinds of research design methods such as
qualitative and quantitative research. In addition to this, it can also be said that the qualitative
research is supportive to create the conceptual understanding and develop the theory
regarding the advantages and disadvantages of social network in business operation (Laranjo,

regression and ANOVA test. In addition to this, there are two kinds of data collection

method is significant for the research that will be collected by observation, interview, and
survey through questionnaire method (Bornmann, 2014). It will be supportive to collect the
new information for the research. Beside this, I also learned that the secondary data collection
method will be also significant for the research which will gather by journal, company
websites, books, academic journals, and online and offline sources. It will support to gather
by existing information that will also support to collect the valid information regarding the
research issue. Along with this, it can also be said that knowledge about data collection
method can help to improve my research skills in an appropriate manner (Davenport, et. al.,
2014). I also increased my knowledge regarding the research limitation. At the same time, it
can also be evaluated that there are some factors that affect the research such as resources,
lack of cost, and lack of time can affect the research (Fuchs, 2017).
In addition to this, it can also be said that knowledge regarding research limitation can enable
to me to perform an effective research in the upcoming period (Bernard and Gravlee, 2014).
Along with this, I increased my knowledge about the time schedule that will be significant to
manage the time. But at the same time, from the depth understanding of time schedule, I
improved my time management skills in an appropriate manner. The time management skills
