Urbanisation is the emerging change in developing countries that have a positive influence on
GDP development (Fink & Elisabetta, 2019). However, with urbanization, the world is more
directed toward the increased rate of waste generation, reduced supply of energy, deterioration of
natural resources, increased traffic and accidents leading to air pollution.

proposition for identifying the rate of waste material production, the rate of emissions,
energy use and the rate of car accidents faced in relation to its own car.
In the next stage, the organization has to identify the technologies or alternative options
such as renewable energy, industry 4.0 technologies that can help it to reduce the waste
production, energy use, and rate of accidents, air pollution and social aspects.
For developing the new electric autonomous car the company will be required to develop a
partnership with several IT companies for the development of software and its installation in
the cars.
The organisation will also need to hire skilled, talented and experienced employees in
industry 4 technologies such as IoT, robotics and artificial intelligence.

With the new product development strategy, the company will be able to propose a range of
noble values to the customers. Therefore the company can focus on social responsibility
with the proposition of values like a decreased rate of car accidents with the self-driving
feature, a reduced level of energy conception with the electric cars, and the ability to respect
the social values of the customers.
For improvement of the value chain, the company has to reduce the overall rate of waste
material production (Walters & Helman, 2020). For this purpose, the company will utilise
the reusable materials for different business operations. In this way, the overall rate of waste
material will be greatly decreased in the upcoming years and thereby help in the
achievement of the company strategic objective.
