Self-Reflective Summary
From the analysis of the articles, I have tried to understand the importance of the business
strategy in different kind of organizations. The academic analysis has helped me in
understanding the different kind of strengths, issues and contributions that has been provided by
our team in managing the different work in an effectual manner. The understanding about the
potentiality of the entire team in managing the tasks in an effectual manner has been done as this
helped in understanding the importance of the business strategy along with the implications of
the same in different businesses as well (Shum et al. 2016).
The primary strengths of my work are that I have strong analytical and research skills.
Due to this reason, I was able to find the articles that were related and directly based on business
strategy. I have been reading various academic books over the past few years which have helped
me to gain a clear knowledge of how concepts need to be applied and how the various
components of a research are to be based. Strength of my work on the given article is that I have
been able to extract the essential details of the given articles and have been successful in
presenting them in a systematic manner (Cowan 2014). Secondly, I have been able to
successfully explain the different aspects like methodology, data analysis and findings attained
from the given articles.My major contribution in the task was that I had helped to extract relevant
data which was important for the article analysis.
Furthermore, there were different challenges that were faced by our team. The main
challenge that was faced by our team was to indulge in deep kind of research work wherein the
different data analysis and the analysis of the entire methodology was difficult to understand and
analyse effectively. In order to understand the methodology, it was not easy for our team to

understand the methodology as in many articles the methodologies or the data collection
methods were not mentioned effectually.
Business strategy has been defined as the strategies that is required to be adopted by
different organizations in managing the resources effectively (Hess 2015). Proper research has
been done to make the different kind of strategies effective to make the business strategy useful
in nature (Johnson 2016).
The given assessment on the article assessment proved to be a major learning experience
for me as it went a long way in making me understand about the different strategies that need to
be executed in an organization (Verbeke 2013). The papers involved implementation and
execution of strategies in the different industries. Previously, I had a belief that strategies do not
hold any importance in industries which are m ore technical. However, after analyzing the given
articles I understood that this is not the case and that strategies are important in every industry
whether it is technical or not. Another thing that formed a huge aspect of my learning experience
was that organizational culture plays a critical role in the business strategies (Slack 2015). A
business strategy involves the whole organization from the top management to the low line
managers. For this reason, I realized that organizational culture plays a major role in any
Business and strategy execution. If a business is able to strategize properly, they will need to
ensure that culture is in place as culture holds a relevant importance in a business`s strategic
area.
The given assessment on article analysis and analyzing how different business houses
implement their different strategies went a long way in changing my understanding of the topic
