presentation. The selected commodity for the assignment has been described and the supply
chain of the commodity has been briefly explained. The selected commodity for this
assignment is Racehorses. Racehorses are synonymous with the equine athleticism. The
inventory of the racehorses is commonly spread all through the supply chain and it involves
each aspect of the maintenance of racehorses. Racehorses are commonly supplied to the
clients using air freights or the ship freights. In the 3rd slide, the role and responsibilities of
the shipper of the racehorse supply chain has been explained. The main role and
responsibilities of the shipper involved in the supply chain of the racehorses are packaging of
goods, marking along with labelling of the goods and then classification of the goods.
Packaging of the racehorses includes the proper packaging of the horses and ensure that the
horses reach the destination in healthy condition. Marking and labelling of the horses
includes the marking of the horses and indicate leading marks required for the identification
of the goods. In the 4th slide, the role and responsibilities of air carrier in the racehorse
transportation has been explained and images of air carriers has been provided. It has been
explained that the Air carrier is used for the transportation of the goods from the origin point
