INTRODUCTION
Human Resource Management (HRM) is responsible for managing organizational operations
such that company is able to achieve high work productivity. Morrisons is the chosen
organization for this report, the company tend to provide hospitality services to the customers.
Evaluation on the effectiveness of HR approach within the company is being done in this report.
Analysis on the effectiveness of the organizational culture is being done within the report and
with that evaluation on the ways for implementation of the working process is also being done
within the report.
MAIN BODY
Role of HRM-
Human Resource is an individual or an group of individuals within Morison which is
responsible for managing the organizational employee workforce, such that company is able to
achieve high work productivity. HR performs several operations which include activities like
recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, employee training and many more. With this approach company
tend to make sure that it is being resourced with appropriate talent and skills which is required to
provide a uniform quality of services to customers (Voo, Soehod and Choi, 2018). HR is
responsible for identifying the organizational requirements and then on that bases implement the
recruitment process. This has to be done in such a way that specific organizational requirements
can be fulfilled.
Developing organizational culture is an important role which has to be played by the
HRM. This is important due to the fact that organizational culture is the way in which inter-
department operations are being performed because of which HRM has to insure that a proper
organizational culture is being developed (Sarmin, 2018). Through which employees are being
empowered to showcase the issues which they are facing, with this approach Morrison can make
guarantee that employee's engagement towards the accomplishment of its desired target is
increased.
Function within organization-
HR is being responsible for performing several operations within the company but which
it can make sure that overall goal achieving capability of Morrison. HR is responsible for
recruiting and firing of the employees and due to which HR also has to make sure that I closely

monitor the working capability of the employee. Then on that basis has to take suitable steps by
which it can make sure that desired working condition is being maintained, through which
desired target can accomplished. Through this approach it can make sure that Morrison is able to
achieve appropriate tale as per its requirements. Since the HR is responsible for monitoring the
organizational performance due to which it is also responsible to identify the performance gap
which the company is facing. Then on the basis of achieved differentiation has to provide proper
training to the employees, by which they can implement new learning on the ground level.
Need of organizational culture-
Organizational culture is the collective approach of values, practices and expectations
which is being used to guide the collaborative efforts of the team members. Organizational
culture sets expectations to which the way in which individual tend to behave and function
within the groups (Rathi, 2018). With that culture also provide an advantage to set the team
targets and guide the decision-making process, accordingly through which overall work flow is
being improved.
This becomes significant for the HR at Morrison because the HR often have to develop
organizational teams, through which it can make sure that company is being able to accomplish
desired working targets. With that it also becomes important for the HRM at Morrison that it
able to find the weak areas which is affecting the employee's working capability towards the
achievement of desired target. Due to which organizational culture has to be developed such that
employees are able to discuss their issues with each other. With this approach HR can ensure that
through group discussion employees are being motivated to implement improvisation in their
working process, by which they can achieve a better working target.
Implementation-
HRM is responsible for implementing several working improvisations within the
organizational working condition and for achievement of the desired target it has to closely
monitor the operational working. Then on that bases develop working strategy, which the
employees have to follow in order to achieve a high work productivity (Shin and et.al, 2019).
With that HR also develop teams within Morrison in which the selected candidates are having a
proper knowledge of their respective fields. Through this HR tend to guarantee that the team is
being resourced with appropriate talent, through the final achieved outcome will provide high
level of benefits to the organization.

CONCLUSION
From the evaluation within the report it can be identified that HR has to make sure that company
is able to achieve high work productivity. Through which it can make sure that it is able to
achieve high work productivity and also at the same time minimizes the organizational efforts
being established for implementing the changes. With that it can also be concluded that HR has
to develop a proper operations culture by which it can ensure that employees are able to discuss
the issues. Through which their problem solving skill will be increased and with that they will
also be motivated to implement appropriate changes in their working process. Through which
company can accomplish a high end performance outcome, by which it can fulfil customer
requirements.
