Analysis of staff survey results and achievements against targets
Talking in relation with the staff survey results along with the achievements in
comparison with the set targets, it can be attributed that the most of the employees of the
company are contended with the policies and procedures being implemented by the company
for reducing the energy consumption and making the company a green firm. However, the
results shown that there were some employees who were not aware about the steps they need
to undertake for reducing their energy consumption (Gareis, Huemann and Martinuzzi, 2018).
Thus, based on this, it has been suggested that the firm should make efforts in promoting the
awareness of sustainability initiatives amongst all staff members so that they can take active
participation in these initiatives.
Analysis of energy audit data and achievements against targets
Prior to the implementation of the sustainability policy the yearly energy bill was
$2,415 a year and the yearly greenhouse emission was around 18 tonnes a year. However,
with the execution of the different targets, energy audit and actions, there has been reduction
in the energy consumption and greenhouse has emission by 3.7 tonnes six month later to the
energy audit. Additionally, the annual energy bill also reduced by $140 which is considered
quite effective. Furthermore, after a year later, the overall energy bill was reduced by $615 a
year and greenhouse emission were decreased to 10.2 tonnes a year.
Recommendations for additional actions that need to be taken based on a review of the data
On the basis of the review of the information, it is highly suggested that the company
should undertake additional actions which will help them in reducing more greenhouse gas
emission and will help them in maintaining their energy bills as well. It is suggested that the
firm should purchase solar panels and renewable energy incentives (Staniškis, 2022). In
addition to this, they can also make use of solar lights for illuminating the darker corners of
the rooms which will helps them in reducing their energy. Moreover, they can also recycle
and reuse for decreasing carbon emission.
Recommend new efficiency targets
Some of the new efficiency targets of the company are as follows:
Making use of non-toxic and less-toxic substances by the end of the year 2022
Reducing the packaging by 10%
Decreasing the consumption of electricity by 30 percent within the six months

Installing automatic light shut off
Summary of success of sustainability policy and procedure based on analysis
The sustainability policy and the procedure of the company is quite successful on the
basis of the evaluation. However, the policy requires some modifications and addition for
more enhanced and augmented results. The targets and the action plans being implemented
mainly focused on reducing the greenhouse emission and energy bills of the company and
they even achieved the desired targets up to some extent (Sun and et.al, 2022). Nevertheless,
there were four new employees being employed in the organization which was not accounted
for increase and the energy targets were not adjusted to account for these new employees.
therefore, it can be attributed that sustainability policy needs to be upgraded considering these
deliberations.
Updates to sustainability policy and procedure to account for recommended improvements
Based on the suggested improvements and enhancements, the sustainability policy as
well as procedures needs to be updated and the following focus areas will define the

I feel immense pleasure in announcing that a permission has been given to a system
that rewards individuals for accomplishing the sustainability targets. Rewards are being
regarded as one of the most important and crucial motivators that helps in encouraging
individual and a team to pursue the goals and improve their work performance. The
sustainability improvement plans and report being implemented by the company has included
different targets and objectives and each and every team and area of the blue healer were
obliged to fulfil the same (Neck, Murray and Houghton, 2018). The rewards should not cost
more than $200 per year for each area of the Blue Healer and thus, the rewards for all the
work teams are being planned according to that budget. The bracket for the rewards is as
follows:
