For an online system to be effective, it must contain quality information. This gives the
user all that he/she needs so as to complete a certain task with ease (Lutz & Huitt 2010, p. 4).
Additionally, quality information helps in planning or regulation of tasks which results in
effectiveness. When efficiency and effectiveness are met then the result is efficacy, which means
attaining the desired results (MacKinnon, 2013).
Describe dimensions of impact of the new online booking system within the garage for all
stakeholders (cover both intended and positive effects, as well as possible negative effects);
describe the proposed impact of the new system on the garage, groups, and individuals
Online systems have both positive and negative impact to all its stakeholders. In most
cases, the positive impacts will go in favour of the organization and the customers and tend to
affect negatively the staff (Lutz & Huitt 2010, p. 4). A good negative example is when the
system does all the work reducing the level of employment in that organization. On the other
hand the customers will feel the effectiveness if the systems will serve them much faster than
employees of that company. This means that in every positive impact there is an equal negative
impact (Fernández-Manzanal, Rodríguez-Barreiro, & Carrasquer, 2007).
Some of the proposed positive impacts in the garage, individuals and groups would
include: easing decision making to the management, and make it easier for managers to control
and monitor the work from other staffs. On the other hand systems failure, loss of employment
and lack of data history are some of the negative impacts of the system.

Identify and justify the way this business is formed using classification by Mintzberg’s.
Mintzberg’s identified five organizational forms. These include: the simple structure,
machine, professional, divisional and adhocracy. The garage would fall under the simple
structure which contains little or no technology since most of the work in a garage is done
manually (Fernández-Manzanal, Rodríguez-Barreiro, & Carrasquer, 2007).

the grid, show the link between the two concepts (organisational form and failure types),
