and future business system. It is going to be discussed from the perspective of a system
analyst that will determine the implications of trends in business system analysis. A system
analyst is an individual who is occupied with analysis and designs adequate techniques to
rectify the business-related issues by utilizing information technology (Manoussaridis,
Mamaloukas & Sagheb-tehrani, 2013). They will try to deliver accurate improvements and
developments in the design system that will help in modifying the systems appropriately. In
the present generation, the business system is mostly dependent on digital technology or the
digital movement (Ren, 2017). Therefore, professionals are required to manage and design
the transformation in the business world that will allow a various number of solutions
available to the system analyst. The most valid aspect has been recognized during the
technological evolution, and that is considering two important factors such as the future
growth of their individual occupation, along with the general trends for business analysis
(Dennis, Wixom & Tegarden, 2015). Thus, one should maintain and recognize the value of
reskilling, hiring, and upskilling for agility is at the forefront of the future workplace (Paul,
2018). In this way, the upcoming future of the business analysis has held a new domain for
technology, along with the recognition for the key trends that have been disrupting the
processes of the business. It is profoundly influencing the job trends of the business analyst
(Davis & Yen, 2019). It is necessary to produce an analysis of the identified trends, along
with the required stakeholders and dealing with the severe effects. In this way, a solution can
be found out and some recommendations can be added to it for the betterment of the future.
The primary purpose of this essay is to form a compare and contrast on the adverse impacts
of the identified trends from the perspective of a system analyst so that the readers could

some procedures that helped in order to complete the report effectively. The process of data

and books. The report is conducted by utilizing secondary sources. A detailed including some

and thoughts so that it can help in processing the knowledge in the upcoming future and to

1. The role of a system analyst:
A system analyst is referred to that individual, who is occupied in designing
procedures and creating analysis to provide solutions to all the business-related issues by
utilizing information technology (Manoussaridis, Mamaloukas & Sagheb-tehrani, 2013). A
System analyst will serve as the person who will bring transformation to the agents and will
recognize the significant organizational developments (Ren, 2017). They will identify the
improvements that are required to design the systems to practice all the significant changes.
These individuals will train as well as motivate other individuals to utilize the systems
appropriately (Dennis, Wixom & Tegarden, 2015).
Some other characteristics are associated with technical knowledge, and computer
system analyst is required to possess particular software skills by delivering at their desired

tasks effectively (Paul, 2018). There are two essential abilities that are required for problem-
solving as well as critical thinking. In this way, it will help them to identify the unwanted

According to the system analyst perspective, trends are defined as the involvement for

show a different level of consistency such as increasing factor, declining factor, and
constancy factor. In this way, trends are recognized at various sets of standards and it will

kinds of information in order to provide adequate help and to predict the future after shaping
through some relevant strategic decisions. The trends have set a positive impact on the
expected growth in the year 2022. It will include the developing adoption in advanced

advanced technology such as DevOps (development opera4tions), learning about machines,
cloud computing, along with application portfolio optimization. System analysts are required
to familiarize themselves and need to be proficient in the latest technologies. In this way, it
will help to enable all the system analysts to suggest the best solutions for all the companies
(Roztocki & Weistroffer, 2015). The Internet is an essential aspect in order to maintain the
technology application and is one of the most famous factors in this business world. In the
upcoming years, the desired number of interconnected devices will compete with the
connected sensors that are set to rise exponentially. In short, more technology applications
will result in this generation of the colossal amount of information in the upcoming future.
Recently, most of the organizations are seeking for system analysts who will understand all
the big data theory, along with practical approaches of mining data for the enhancement in

b) Agile practices on-demand:
In the world of business, it has been experiencing intense pressure for agile practices

customers. They need to provide all the products and services as quickly as possible. System
analysts, who are unable to adopt all effective practices, will find it very difficult to cope up
with it. It will not turn out to be easy enough to stay afloat as well as to offer adequate

based on large, along with elaborate plans, and enterprise-wide agile projects.
c) Digital transformation:
Digital transformation is defined as an effective strategy, which is required to analyze
one’s own needs as well as maintaining one’s culture of the company. It is required to set
adequate business goals and to understand the major risks in the documentation and to run the
tests effectively (Schwertner, 2017). System analysts should take adequate advantages of

In the business system, a stakeholder has been identified through internal as well as
external stakeholders that include investors of a company, employees, customers, and
suppliers. It will consist of those actions that may determine the results of individual
decisions in the businesses (Wennink, 2014). It may also include the employees who consist
of a stake in the organization’s success, along with an incentive for all the products to
improvise and succeed.
The internal, as well as external stakeholders, are involved in this advanced business
system, and those are:
a) Internal stakeholders:
Internal stakeholders are those individuals or a certain kind of a group, who are
financially or directly connected with the operational processes. In this process, there are
certain kinds of stakeholders, and they are owners, employees, and managers (Wennink,
2014).
i. Owners:
They are the individuals who are involved in publicly traded companies, and they are
also known as shareholders. They mostly hold a significant share in business ventures and

financial as well as time investments in the company. It plays an indispensable role by
creating strategies, operations and tactics carried out by the organization. It will involve
employees’ opinions, values, and concerns (Wennink, 2014).
iii. Managers:
Managers are always recognized as a substantial role, who are associated the
strategies of the companies, and an essential voice in the operational decisions. Managers are
highly associated with the decisions, and act as the point of connection between the board of
directors, shareholders, along with the company (Bughin, Chui & Manyika, 2013).
b) External stakeholders:
External stakeholders are recognized as the external factors that may influence in the
business operations. They help in integrating businesses in the social context outcomes in a
broader aspects of communication with a various number of different external stakeholder
groups (Wennink, 2014). In this way, it is required to understand the positive as well as
negative impacts of the company on the wider external ambiance.
i. Suppliers:
Suppliers, along with other strategic alliances are interconnected, in which the success
will influence the success of the others. As the desired outcome, suppliers are actively related

interacting with the customers through every means of connection like social media,
storefronts, emails, user testing teams, and executing of goods and services.
iii. Local community:
All the businesses will earn more benefits in a community by generating tax money,
and local access to all goods and services, occupations, and community enhancement
program. However, in every business analysis, it can also help in draining a community by
developing traffic, producing pollution, distracting small businesses and altering the prices of
real estate (Bughin, Chui & Manyika, 2013).
5. Obtaining requirements:
The business analysis will turn out to be easier only if one considers four
requirements accordingly and those are:
a) Functional requirements:
Some critical requirements may involve a product, service and the desired solution are
required to function from the perspective of the user (CeArley et al., 2016). Then, they are
going to discuss about the basic features, along with the functions due to which all the users
can connect with the requirements effectively.

considered for the further practices and that should be delivered successfully as per the
processes are concerned (CeArley et al., 2016). In this way, they will produce the product on
time without lagging behind any critical issues.
d) Transitional requirements:
In the business analysis, system analysts should look over on the last requirement and
that is transitional requirement, where steps are required to be implemented for executing
new products through adequate processes (Bughin, Chui & Manyika, 2013).
Conclusion
In the concluding part, system analysts should utilize the analysis, along with
development of the organisation’s business operations in order to progress by associating
with advanced business trends. System analysts should prepare the test methods so that other
functions should be developed effectively. In this way, definition of the specifications will be
redefined unless they are clearly testable. Therefore, all the trends will support adequately to
improve the situations and provide and maintain every significant procedure. Thus, Data
