BUSINESS PROCESS
1. Introduction
The report is concerned with the case of the Sunshine motors. The Sunshine motors is old
car dealership that generally conducts their business in trading of old cars. There has been a
change of ownership in the company the new owners are looking to develop a new system for
the company. The information and the analysis about the new system has been provided in this
report. The report consists of the system acquisition techniques, the system requirements. In
addition to this, some information about the flow of the system and the program design and
specifications about the system have also been provide in this report. The implementation of the
system with the help of third party vendor is not considered for the company.
2. Recommended System Acquisition Strategy
For the implementation of the system it is advisable that prior knowledge about the
existing system should before gathered. After gathering the information about the existing
system the problems in the existing systems are to be identified and also the mitigation of the
identified problems in the system are to be designed. The schedule and budget for the
development of the system should be defined after identification of the plan. The requirements
for the system should be acquired after the designing of the plan. For the implementation of the
system two types of approaches were identified. The finance manager wanted to use the
Microsoft Excel and MYOB but another approach also identified for the development of the
system. The implementation of a software for the system so that all the operations of the
company can be done very easily with the help of the software. The development of an
application for the company is more preferred as no third party involvement would be present in
